Player Scores 113 Points in One Game

This definitely deserves its' own thread. Mohammad Ell Akkari scored 113 points in a single game yesterday. He averaged 7.3 points per game from 23 games coming into Tuesday. He plays in Asia, with the club of Moutahed. He had 40-69 shots and 32-59 three pointers!!! He made ONE free throw throughout the game. Truely an amazing feat, no matter the league he plays in. This is the first time a player ever scored 100 points or more in one game in FIBA Asia's history (not including international games/high school). So awesome.

As for the poll I have to go with Mohammed's 100-point + game, for a few different reasons. One, he made only one free throw whereas Wilt Chamberlain made 28 in his 100-point game. Number two, El Akkari scored 113 point, 13 more than Wilt. Finally, Mohammed scored 32 three-pointers!!!

Not in the least bit impressive to me. You see that he is not a special player by what he has averaged before and if you set some shit like this up it means nothing but probably cheating.

Assuming there's no cheating involved. People have to suck really badly, not to be able to guard someone and allow them to splash points like that. I'd have to assume for it to be a situation lol like a 7 foot guy getting defended by a 5'7 guy lol, even then, it's just so strange.

I know the league well, and even met akkari once..
I will see why this happened, cause its strange to me too. he is not even top 30 player in the league..

they say the other team missed all there starters,arrived late to the game and had just 5 players to play in the game.Also there foreigners missed too...

They also say the other team didnt give any intrest to play in the game. read lots of articles how embarassing it is for the league ..

here is the guy..






He is average player in the league, but the opposition played with there youth team.Had all starters missing, and just 5 players to field. No subs.

I had a pretty tough time choosing between "Wilt's was better" and "Sac alm:"

Wilt's was obviously better but in the end I went with "Sac alm:" to hopefully send a message.

This is by far the dumbest thread I've come across this year.

I voted for Wilt because I felt it was important to emphasis that his was better, rather than to leave it at a marginal 3-1.

For one, I didn't know the situation coming into the game. Second, Wilt's oppositiong was missing their starting center and had to put a 6'10 guy on him. His 100 was kind of a fluke as both teams literally did non-stop fouling towards the end.

im quite confident i would school that guy. that was pathetic. Although even for training, that 3pt % is impressive even if his shooting style is butt ugly.
