Congrats to Itti for winning the Saudi league Cup

It was well deserved. Actually, the score flatters Hilal. Hilal played well for the first 25 mins and could have been more than 1 goal ahead. After that, they just simply rolled over and played dead. A truly pathetic performance too painful for us Hilalis to watch. I don't know, maybe the 1month of vacation without playing competitive games had an effect. Oh well! the season is over and now everyone is looking forward to next season, which would be the most interesting one since 1990. Why?

1- Back to the old format like ever league in the world. No more playoff nonesense.
2- Another short relegation championship (King's Cup) for the top 8 in the league with big cash awards (instead of the playoffs).
3- Pr. Faisal federation league cup will be played simultaneously with the league since it will be reserved for reserve and U-23 players. Hence, the league won't be stopped for a month or so for this meaningless tournament.
4- Most likely (nothing official yet), 2 more teams will be added to the league.

Thanks Adel,

I tell you I was very stressed yesterday. Me and my friend wanted to go watch the game at a cafe in Edgware road, but the people who run these places were real a******* . The ones that were only going to show the first half, the ones that tell you they will have it on, sit you down take your order then all of a sudden "find out" they have no subscription with ART, the list goes on. So we wasted most of our evening. In the end I only watched the second half on a crappy internet stream. But the result calmed me down a bit .

Hard luck and good luck next season. Regarding the format, yeah it will be good to move back to a conventional league.

That’s because of the way the league was played “the golden square”
Hilal was mostly on top of the table in past seasons and then the 2nd or even the 4th takes the prize (not fair imo), so now that the golden square rule is over I think al hilal will win it more.
Im not “hilaly” in fact I used to be al nasr fan, but what happened to al naser I left the whole Saudi league and I just watch some of the important matches now.
Anyway, im sure you are more expert than me in the Saudi league but IMO if this now rule was applied two seasons ago then I guess al hilal would have won those two.
Finaly id like to say good luck to al ittihad, they seem to be the only team that can stand up to al hilal in the coming seasons

This is the list of who finished first in the league, not the eventual champions.
