ولم يفصح اللاعب يونس محمود الذي يتصدر قائمة هدافي الدوري القطري الآن (15 هدفاً) عن قيمة العرض الذي قدمه ليون والتفاصيل الفنية التي تتعلق ببنود العقد وفترة الاحتراف.
يشار إلى أن محمود دافع عن ألوان الخور القطري لموسمين متتالين قبل أن ينتقل إلى الغرافة لتمثيله في الموسم الحالي.
وبرز محمود الذي شارك في حصول منتخب بلاده في أولمبياد أثينا 2004 على المركز الرابع وفضية أسياد الدوحة 2006، في نهاية عقد التسعينات مع فريق كركوك المغمور في الدوري العراقي ثم انتقل إلى العاصمة مع صفوف الطلبة الذي يعد البوابة الحقيقية لنجوميته.
وشارك في بلوغ المنتخب العراقي نهائيات كأس أمم آسيا 2007 في تايلاند وأندونيسيا وماليزيا وفيتنام

Younis is a very good striker even though he is a scumbag who dives a lot. Anyway, I do not think he is quality enough to play for a team like Lyon. Sorry Mussav.

Agreed .
He may play well and do something for himself if he play for any other team to get his opportunity in playing . But , with intermediate team in French league .

So has he joined or he is just being linked with a move there?? It would be tough for him to get playing time with Fred, Benzema and Wiltord. Even Carew cant break that lineup.

he is one of best Strikers in the Arab world. and yes he dive Sometimes because the others want to break his leg.. this is the only way to stop him.
Younis can score from every where, in the Box, out side the Box
by his Left or Right Foot, By His head or by Free kicks

He still young to judge if he quality or not.. but teams like Lyon or any big teams, Buy the unknown players.. especially if they are Young

Younis mahmoud is Young Player
He is only 23 years and he destroy every team stand in his face.
i think he will move next season but from now to then we will know.

And the gulf's media are not exactly the best knifes of the shelf, are they?

Dude, I am not saying he is a bad player, it is the tottal opposite, but to describe him the way you did according to the almighty gulf media is nothing short of exaggerating.

Younis Mahmoud is a good striker IMO, he deserves to go and play for Lyon.
