Well, figures are not easy to get. They're available, but they need some serious searching.

Gulf countries in general (Saudi, UAE, Qatari, etc) have good cash funds coming in from the government and their supporters.. Thats why they can afford Batistuta, Kallon, Job, Hierro, etc..

But North African clubs don't have the same budgets. Some of them still raise good cash, like Ahly, Esperance, Rajaa, etc.. But the majority don't.

Ahly for example makes most of their profit from club memberships, which cost around US$ 6,000. Other sources of funds are rich supporters and championship cach prizes. I think our most expensive player purchase so far was worth US$ 2-3M. But even such a purchase was criticized in the media when better local players could be purchased for much cheaper, or African players can be brought also for much cheaper.

Jordanian clubs apart from Wihdat, Faisaly and Shabab Ordon can only afford paying the players their shoes, sometimes they can not.

Vamos Argentina!

Ittihad's operating budget is around $10 million a year.
Funding comes from honourary members, sponsorship, land rental (part of Ittihad's grounds were turned into shops), share of gate receipts (the FA takes 2/3), and the small amount the FA gives on an annual basis.

Now you tell us the budgets of Croatian clubs

He has sold a lot of lands to spend on the team, I believe he should consider investment.
