Saudi Arabia V Iran

Saudi is playing Iran today in an international friendly. The game will be held in Malysian capital Kuala Lumpur, as part of the two teams preparations for the final round of World Cup qualifiers. Both teams are expected to field experimental teams.

There are reports that the game might be cancelled now that KL has been engulfed in thick acrid smoke coming from forest fires in Sumatra .

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

They can't postpone the derby of Asia, they can't postpone the eternal battle between good and evil (Saudi is obviously good, and Iran is obviously evil). So there's a little smoke, suck it up you pampered Malaysians!

This is all an Iranian conspiracy to get themselves out of a thrashing! I am disgusted!

lool

Unfortunately it doesn't look it will be played. They tentatively rescheduled it for tomorrow, but I doubt the smoke will clear by then.

You guys got lucky this time around. I hope we get in the same group in the next WC qualifiers or something. This is men's business.

Did you guys see Iran against Japan? Freaking cheaters, first the Iranian player trying to keep out the ball with his hand, and then he has the gall to complain to the ref for allowing the goal, when the dumbass should've been sent off. Then Daei making a meal out minimal contact to get Iran an undeserved penalty.

Cheaters, all of them.

Didn't watch the game, I was enjoying seeing our reserves beating Korea away

I was switching between both games.

The only really noteworthy thing we did was score the goal, but that's all that was needed. Of course they managed to keep the scoreline in tact, but that was more to do with an outrageous goalkeeping display by Zayed than anything else.

Still, i'm not complaining, we beat S. Korea away and Iran lost. Oh happy day.

I was too nervous to concentrate on Japan-Iran's game, good thing Iran lost, they're getting owned in BS.
