Idiot! We don't need prats like him condenscending to speak on ART, he can go and shove himself where the sun doesn't shine!

No you didn't understand
He want to talk to Danish TV. Just the Danish TV not Spanish TV not Italian TV and not Arabic TV.

Look like the reporter knew he just want to talk to Danish TV. But he insets to make the Interview. So Gravesen blow up.

That dose not make him any better Mussav! Not talking to any TV station but a Danish TV is simply discriminating. Anyway, who gives a damn about him anyway, he is not really something to remember not even in RM.

Vamos Argentina!

I don't really know what he meant and I personally wouldn't call him racist because, again, I don't know what he meant. But regardless, his behaviour was aggressive and uncalled for. There are better ways to apologize.

It was pathetic. A Danish player who played in England and now plays for the biggest Spanish Club should know a thing or two about globalization.

For once I really felt sorry for the reporter. His innocent face made it all look more harsh. :fero:

Same feeling really. I don't really care for European soccer all together (i.e. I just watch, but I am not crazy about any of it) so I don't give a damn about Gravesen either.. But I just felt really sorry for the reporter.

Silly and childish behaviour.

However, I think the reporters in the studio responded well and very professionaly to Gravesen's behaviour.

I don't know Arabic, can you tell me what the studio guys said?

If I had been there, I would've slammed Thomas's behaviour right there. :fero:

My first thought is, that it isn't very politely of him.
But I dont know the background of the situation, so I'm not going to condemn him.

"I never knew my birth parents. There was a car accident. my birth mother was incinerated, and I only survived because her smoking carcass had formed a protective cocoon of slaughtered human effluence. A Belgian man and his fifteen year-old love slave were looting the accident scene, came across a blood soaked baby, moi, and they raised me to be evil."

They said "its unfortunate that such a great player like Gravesen, who we respect on the pitch, does a very small deed like this which would make us regret watching him again.. (pause)... very aggressive behaviour"..

more or less..

Great Player my Ass !

He should've said

"Its a pity that players like Thomas who have spent quite a lot of time living in foreign countries cannot understand the concept of globalization. Such narrow minded approach, does'nt do any good to his repute overall. I hope he suffers the consequences."

then I would've called Osama Bin Laden and made sure everything is settled

Maybe racist was too far, but he definitely shows contempt to Arabs. If he was going to another interviewer, then why did he stop and ask where are you from?

Sabry, thanks for the link.

Saw it, i couldn't make out, everything, the Gravesen said apart from '...Nah, Middle East...' it would have almost been funny if it had been personal but it was not; it was a petty and arrogant assertion: 'No 'Middle East' broadcasters are worthy of my two minutes.'

As Kevin Keegan would say "that guy has gone right down in my estimation." :broken:

Hmm, just saw the video. I'm quite shocked to say the least. Whatever the context was, it's still impolite, rude, arrogant, and a low class thing to do. Haraam, the poor reporter must've felt terrible. I always liked Thomas Gravesen as a player, but I've lost all respect for him after this.

Like the previous suggestions made, Ali Alawiyya and the rest of the crew handled it very profesionally.

Don't lament the treachery of time;
long have dogs danced over the carcasses of lions.

Don't suppose that their dancing raises them above their masters;
for dogs remain dogs, and lions remain lions.

Insult me as you wish;
For my silence to the depraved is a response.

It's not that I have no response, but;
A lion does not reply to a dog.
