BC Provincials

Well, I found some time to post. its been a long season, but we finally did it.......Provincials Baby!!!!!!!!!!

We went 10-0 in season play!!!

We went 20-7 in all games played!!!

68 goals scored.......16 against!!!!!!

Now in 2 weeks, were heading to provincials in Burnaby, BC. Although this hasnt been my best season, I feel I have stepped it up towards the end of the year. Gotta get the attention of the scouts at Provincials. Maybe I can get a try out invitation or a scholarship to some school

More info will come as the "Big Show" gets closer.......

Nice to see you back
Nice to hear the team doing well, 16 against is really good for any team.
God luck in Burnaby

Your defensive skills are obviously paying big dividends for the team.

*Struggling to even type*

Oh man am I tired. Indoor practices are hard on the body, but the team is looking good. A few players really excell on the hard fast surfaces. Not me in particular, but I just have to make sure the other team doesnt score, so ill do fine

Guess whos back.back again..Kiels back..tell a friend....

Well, sorry to keep you all waiting, but here is the exciting conclusion too "Kiel's Provincial Adventure"

So, our first game was actually against Gulf Islands in which we lost 3-0. 2 goals went of defenders legs We didnt play bad, but we couldnt get used to playing on the turf. Our second game was against the team ranked #1 going into the tournament(were #9)
We play well defensivly, but eventually they crack us as my cleat comes apart and the Notre Dame players puts it home. They score one more to finnish the game. The next day, we play MEI. Its still raining hard, and this turf stuff is still weird. Which of course leads to a 2-0 defeat. we finnish last in our group. eventhough we were the second ranked team in the group.
So were in the bottom playoffs. Our first game is against a team close to us in Kamloops. We score our FIRST!!!!:fero: goal of the tournament. I get subbed for a breather and they tie it up. Sow e go into Xtratime and our OT hero of two times already heads one of a defenders head of the cross bar, then the goalies back and in!!!!!! what a goal!!!!

So now were in the final game, playing for 12 or 13. We have already beaten this team aerlier in the season and we handled them well with a little scare at the end.3-1 for us and 12 place in the province. Not what we expected. The turf killed us, but the other kids got some experiance for next year.

Almost forgot, just to toot my own horn. I got 2 all-star votes, I got beaten out by my own team mate though. He got 3 votes

It feels good to be back
