I have renamed this thread in order to more specifically reflect its contents. (the old title was "Great news for all of us Canucks!")

Kiyan, PSN is the Panamerican Sports Network, which carries European and South American football games with Spanish commentary. It is the source currently used by TLN in Canada for some of its Serie A games.

I think you're gonna have to phone them. Their web site is useless - all Flash and no substance.

Then they'll go crying to the CRTC for a rate increase because nobody's buying their digital service. Duh!

As far as the last conversation i had with a Rogers's rep over the phone, it costs 10 bucks to rent the box, and then, depending on hich package you take, it will vary. The sport package, which includes, Fox Sports World Canada and PSN, plus Raptors and Leafs TV, Plus ESPN Classics, costs around 7-8 bucks/month. So, if you're getting just the sport package, you're looking at about 18-20 bucks at the most. Which is quite good, given the quantity and quality of football there are in those channels...

Their TV ads give you the impression that you can choose digital channels individually (not packaged) is it true?, because I could go for FXSW and PSN and skip the others.

You can, but there is a catch.

Getting a package which includes maybe 6 or 7 channels will cost about $8 or $9 per month. Getting a single channel will cost about $3.00 per month. So they want you to get the package.

Digital cable on the whole seekms to cost much more than satellite. About $20.00 more?
