On the UEFA Cup site Aguiar is listed as a Portuguese player:

Good to see Radzinski playing again. You can't improve as a side unless your best player are playing. Very big tests these ones coming up. Maybe I can get a cheaky last minute ticket and go see the match

Been so long since he was called up for Canada, I guess his nationality is starting to wear off!

Fernando Aguiar will probably not be in the lineup after all. He missed the Czech match on Saturday, staying in Lisbon with his wife who is about to give birth.

Addendum:

Marc Bircham and Jason Bent replace Nick Dasovic and Patrice Bernier in the midfield. Bircham (Queens Park Rangers) and Bent (Plymouth Argyle) were unavailable for Saturday's game against the Czechs because they were in London playing each other in a key Second Division clash. QPR won 3-0.

3-0 loss. All a learning experience though eh? What really burns me is the result isn't even posted on TSNs web site. Pathetic. Part of the reason there isn't much interest in Canadian soccer is people arn't given enough of a chance.

Oh, by the way, Canada fell another four places in the November world soccer rankings released Wednesday, sliding to No. 87.

It's Canada's lowest ranking in 21 months and represents a 17-place drop since the start of the year.

Canada is sandwiched between Indonesia and Haiti.

Canada is 9th among the CONCACAF nations.

Canada has many issues unfortunatley.

Craig Forrest made a funny comment saying that the Irish players and the Canadian players are at the same class, I almost burst out laughing. From Keane to Duff, to Given, ALL Irish players play at good English premier clubs mostly or other strong clubs.
While the Canadian's play in weaker divisions or some of the bottom divisions.
The only one thats wort comparing to an Irish player is Radzinski, otherwise, not much there, even Stalteri is ok, but most Irish players are above his class.

Who knows though, as a team they could improve if they get some good coaching.

Never take seriously anything Craig Forrest says on TV. Great goalie, but lousy commentator.
