Juve will eat some biscotti and let Atalanta win.

Any praise for Gennaro for this win? Away at Fiorentina is not the easiest win...

Italian teams with nothing left to play for most of the time dont care and lose, that was the case with Viola tonight and with Napoli and Juve losing left and right.

The praise should go to Montella who for the first time since February allowed Gattuso to utilize his tactic in peace. Kessie and Bakayoko had all the time in the world. They could have done the moon walk like Boateng and no Fiorentina player was going to bother them.

Fiore was garbage, a club in crisis with the fans revolting against the owners and nothing to play for. And they still could've won this with a little luck

Even though Juve have won their last 8 home matches against Atalanta in Serie A, it’s unlikely they’ll win this one. A bit annoying that they meet when Juve have nothing to play for since that very well could be the difference between Atalanta and Milan when the season ends.

Yes we have the better h2h. Another possible and interesting (but not very likely) scenario: Inter get 5 points from their next 3 games. We get 6 and Atalanta gets 3. We all end with 68 points. We are out in this scenario.

How so? Why wouldn't it be Inter 3rd and us 4th?

It really burns my balls thinking of some of the stupid dropped points this season. CL is super attainable because all our rivals shat the bed, but then we had to go and shit the bed too towards the end. I doubt it will be as easy next season.

H2H:
Ata > Inter
Milan > Ata
Inter > Milan

So I guess goals for and against decides it and Ata and Inter are superior to us in that regard.

Not sure why you worried about Hazard

It does seem like a pattern that Suso begins the season very well and then fades away. These last couple of matches clearly demonstrate how important he is to us as he’s pretty much our only offensive weapon.

Very clearly, which is why he is not a top tier player.

If only we had any other decent winger/creative player to step up when he does not...

The issue with Suso is that he is the ONLY offensive weapon we have. He is not good enough to shoulder the whole attack on his back. Very few players are.

the problem is not Suso..

imagine if we had a proper LW attacker with speed and skill that would be able to service Piatek while also having Suso provide from the right...

They promised us that with Paqueta.

Paqueta was never a LW and he never had speed.

Paqueta is someone who competes for Bonaventura's position in midfield. He's not really a LW.. we need a classy, fast, LW to help fill the void in our attack. we are able to funnel in through the right side because of Suso, but the same cannot be said for the left side.

We’ve been needing that for so long it’s crazy incompetence from three different managements.

Every other post in this forum had “now our left side is sorted” tho...
