Why does those 3 Milan players earn 4m??? Them together with current declined Cambiasso are deffo overpaid, while rest are atleast performing star/iconic players of their team.

Eh it's not really that weird, considering that a few years ago our high earners were at €7-€10m so these three would've been the "middle class" then. Now because of Milan getting rid of all the expensive players those three are suddenly the highest earners in Milan.

-Mexes because of him being a free agent when he signed for Milan, but yeah it's way to high for him.

-Robinho on name and because he was good in his first year.

-Pato because he was supposed to be the big star for several years to come.

This is how Milan's wages have been over the last 4 years, courtesy of @Milanello:

Actually I am more confused as to why Robinho is said to be getting €4m. the whole summer I heard the figure €6M repeated.

i was also sure that Milito would earn more than that.

So did I. Robinho was reported to be at 6. Maybe they didn't get a raise this time around. Anyway if we cut Robinho, Mexes and Pato the wages go down to under 100 million euros. As usual the highest paid are not gonna do shit.

Galliani: Il Milan ha un monte stipendio di 100 milioni e rotti e non di 120 quindi hanno arrotondato per eccesso

Galliani says that Milan's wage bill is at €100m and not €120m. It doesn't matter though, cause we don't know if the Gazzetta is wrong about other teams as well or have been wrong earlier years. I only use Gazzetta's numbers for comparison's sake.

The total sum of those wages is 50m euros, Plus tax the total is 100m euros.

The problem here is that we pay 100m euros for this team, that is on par with some 30m euros teams.

Another good job by Galliani..

We have definitely saved 60 m € in wages.. If I am not wrong our gross wage bill was 160 m € in 11 - 12.. With revenues of around 250 m € we could see a profit this year..

We won't make revenues of 250m euros this year, fans aren't going to the San Siro and we will possibly not make it past the CL group stages, we don't have any appealing player who'd make us sell shirts either..

Our revenues will for sure drop, possibly around 15-20% this year and even more next year once we miss out on CL football..

That's what I was going to say, that the revenue is surely not going to be that much this year. But it will be offset off the sales.

I don't think the jerseys shirts are that relevant, we haven't had a player as popular as CR7 for a long time now and I don't think the ticket sales are that much lower than last season which was already abysmal. The thing that can hurt is the combination of those too and failing in CL. Lucky for us we got a relatively easy CL group so there is still hope there.

Of more pressing concern should be how much money will we lose when we play in Serie B next season.

I was under the impression it wasn't that bad last season. Worst drop and all was when we sold Kaka.

I don't know the average amount of tickets sold over a whole season but there is this:

That's from august and we ended up selling 23,618 tickets.

I actually found it. We had the highest attendance last season with 51,442 people in San Siro on average. This season is still so fresh so we'll see where we end.

Here's the link that we can check out in a couple of months:

Average attendance in Serie A
