We have only ourselves to blame. If we had beaten Parma or Udinese at home...

Can’t believe Ronaldo didn’t score from that easy chance early in the game!

You gotta still believe.

There'll be a twist next week. (Sassuolo are underrated)

Yep. We are in a position where a possible 4th win a row next week may not be enough. Juve (and refs) are what they are but this is on us.

I can imagine Atalanta/Inter drawing, only for us to do the same.

That last day of Serie A is going to be nuts. The Champions League qualification and the relegation battle are really red hot, big teams involved too.

Would be fun for the neutrals, more like nervous breakdown for all those involved.

Inter and Atalanta with a big advantage playing at home, and especially since it all depends on them.

IMO we have around 2% chances of making it to the CL, while both Inter and Atalanta have 99% each.

I think Sassuolo is no match for the motivated Atalanta and they dont have anything to play for.

Empoli might be motivated a lot bc is fighting to stay in Serie A, BUT in the end they will be no match for Inter at home.

I am already getting ready for another year in Europa League.

I agree that it looks like it’s gone after Ata’s draw with Juve. That was our chance but we would probably have wasted it anyway. We’re no good when destiny is in our own hands, that’s when we choke. When there are no expectations it’s different and that pretty much characterizes what we are: a small team.

There won't be no Europa League next year. It's either Champions League or nothing. And nothing means Milan will take a year ban as punishment from UEFA and than enter into a settlement agreement. UEFA gets their way with a "big" punishment in term of FFP, while Milan ignores a minuscule competition and focuses on the league for next season. And a fresh start in European Competition the following year.

I can live with that. But what would happen if on the unlikely event, we qualify for the CL? Would uefa want to have their "big" punishment for us? There would be war!

It is said that with the CL money we could cover some loses and UEFA wont punish us.

Still, it would be the best scenario to skip the EL so we can have a fresh FFP start next season, even though it feels unfair.

How to buy players to improve the squad to ensure we qualify for CL then?

Exactly. The way it is right now, FFP is ridiculous for teams who want to make the jump. It's impossible to compete with teams that in most cases not only have more money and appeal, but also because of FFP institutional restrictions that make sure they will remain a step ahead. I'm sure the intentions were good, but at this point by design it kills competition.

These idiots Berlusconi and Galliani chose the worst possible time to **** up. These differences are calcifying. If, to no one's surprise, the richest and most successful clubs decide to create their own super league type thing a few years from now, we're growing ever closer to looking like outsiders.

So basically Milan is the only club without a coach, officially. We wait, no problem.
