its the same one of course and we won it 7 times, but no one has won it twice in a row since it became the Uefa Champiosn League in 1992.

Btw, the first Sacchi Milan title was a rather short affair compared to these days - 2 games v levski, zvezda, werder and real and one final. 9 games v 5 teams.

Ok, let's agree that if they win, MAN UTD will be the first team to win the UCL under the new format. Happy?

This is crap, just because Notingham or Aston Villa or whoever were able to win in back then, does not make it a mickey mouse cup.

Nottingham forest was a big club at that time, i have a soft spot for them.. But winning 5 times back to back does say something about the competition at that period of time.

If you have any sense of football history winning those five cups also tells you how great that Real was. They had to fight for every one except the 1960 7-3 classic which is of course the only won people remember. Hell, Milan nearly beat them in 58 .

As I said before, UCL was not regulated back then. Fifa was not regulated back then. That meant that any world class player would been givien a spanish citizenship and play for Real. Real had this advantage over other clubs, and that contributed to their 6 titles.

That's why I consider Real to be the holder of 3 UCLs , yet it it does not mean Real was not great in the 50s or that the competition sucked!

Damn they lost 3-0? I saw this picture today of Barca's dominance:
