the Milan match is hopeless. our defense is serie B quality. we weren't even victimized by bad luck. today we got lucky because Atalanta couldn't finish. How many clearances did we send directly to them?
our offense is a one-man show until we can get Floccari/Okaka/ whomever to score consistently. also we need Bia/Gobbi /etc. to advance the ball.
I don't even know how we should play Milan.

I can't believe I just read this.... It's like saying Floccari or Okaka will be top goal scorers in Serie A. I don't think many teams have as good a back-up keeper as us. When ever he has played he has done so well, even in Serie B he saved us a lot. Pavarini is one of the most important players to Parma. It is well known that he is a very character in the changing rooms, and is a fan favourite. Today he should have saved the goal, but apart from that I can't really say anything bad against him

Pavarini is one of my favourite players for sure, i'm sure he had a string of penalty saves at some point, i think he does have weaknesses but he's a good shot stopper normally

no I'm not necessarily begrudging the player; I applaud his attitude and he is definitely a fan favourite. All I'm saying is that I can remember several games where his performances have been clumsy and his command of the area isn't always great.
Then again, Mirante hasn't been his full self since Guidolin left and there have been moments this season where's he's looked clueless.

But he's a good back up goalie, thats good enough
Hopefully Mirante will pick up though.

There were two injuries during the warm-up, as Antonio Mirante and Matteo Brighi pulled out before kick-off, making way for Nicola Pavarini and Carlos Carmona.

Our former player Matteo Rubin scored an awkward own goal against Lazio.
