Ozil delivers for both club and country, unlike, someone I know
He is without a doubt the best playmaker in the world, today!

Ozil is a bit overrated. He was OK vs Apoel, but it is Apoel.

Totti, Xavi, Pirlo, Cesc, heck even Sneijder in that first half of 2010.
If one wanted to open a can of worms one would call Lamps n Gerrard playmakers.
Özil's getting there though, the Euros might be exciting for a change.

Ozil is mint playmaker no doubt about it, just that guy has to be more consistent as when he is in bad form he becomes a liability specially defensively as offensively he would already be out of form.

As if another team would have an easier time trying to unlock APOEL's six man defense and nine men in the box...

Dagoods do you know where I can get a classic Peru jersey in the US for cheap? I want to get myself a Cueto jersey and a Cubillas one for a coworker (he's Peruvian)

This time he got a lucky assist, but you can still bet Joshua had an orgasm.

^ You are right, unlocking crowded defenses are never easy. But it was more down to Kaka and Marcelo that Madrid finally unlocked them, though. First goal was from Kaka assist, then Kaka's goal was from Marcelo's creativity.
That's the thing with Ozil, once the space opened up, he delivered a pass. Before that, he wasn't looking like he can unlock Apoel.
In this sense, he is a bit like Alexis. I read/heard somewhere that if Alexis Sanchez didn't score any of the goals he scored for Barca, the number of points for Barca wouldn't change. Ozil seems a bit like that, he looks great when the game is going. Rarely does it happen that the team is struggling and Ozil is leading his team to a victory.

Kaká was better in the 15 minutes he was on the pitch than Ozil in the entire match. He setup and scored the first two goals. Ozil helped set up the third when the game was already won, but wasn't all that productive otherwise.

You read wrong! Sanchez has scored crucial, clutch goals for Barcelona already (the one at RM comes to mind). Sometimes Messi scores superfluous goals late in matches though.

Beautiful player. You could call him inconsistent, but certainly not overrated.

Well nobody has called him that. And in what he has shown since 2010, I wouldnt take any midfielder before him besides these two.
