So who is the worst manager, Arse or Dalglish? It's obviously Kenny, but people on XT tend not to go for the obvious.
Kenny does tend to get results against the big teams. But his transfers are awful. Rafa for all his stupidities in the transfer market could do a lot more with this Pool given the budget Kenny has been given.

Fine, you're not bad. But you're not good either. Your midfield is even more shady than Inter's. At least when at full strength. Milan might have more depth though.
Edit: No jinx!

If Ac Milan get to the semi finals of the CL, they can consider they had a good season.
Something unheard of a couple of years ago.

Wenger's comments after the game about subbing out Chamberlain is laughable, stating that Arshavin is 29 years old and he is the captain of the Russian national team as his reasoning.
I could see Van Presie trying to get the **** out.

Are you guys totally sure that Wenger has money to spend?
getting Benanoon on loan on deadline day & Arteta & sack of potatoes doesn't seem to suggest so. For all we know Wenger probably had as much to spend as Jol at Fulham

He got 35 mil for Fabregas + 25 mil for Nasri.
Unless they used that to cover some stadium debt.
But Arsene Wenger will definitly go down in history as a brilliant ROI manager

unfair on kenny - here is someone trying to sign quality players to a team with no CL football, and Suarez was a great buy, shame about the 8 game ban...also charlie adams is not bad for EPL, bellamy etc. the obvious one is Carroll and that was a last minute decision...whilst Wenger is plucking young talent, buys the best of the french league, and sells the stars at their peak, with a world class player in RVP to carry the team, let him go 8 games banned like Suarez and lets see how many points Arsenal drop...
bottom line both unlikely to win much this season, and will fight hard for a top 4 finish, so i dont see the huge difference in transfer record success...

Plus Kenny made memorable teams in the past for Liverpool (the best of Liverpool in the last 25 years by a good margin) and he won the league with Blackburn Rovers
And he is trying to lift the clubb up, while Wenger has had the same role for 15 years.

No, that isn't correct. It's been 'Victory grows out of harmony' for a good while, now.

Dalglish didn't sign Bellamy IMMSMC, but he did indeed, sign Carroll. I'm a bit puzzled as to why Van Persie should receive an eight-game ban for being racist, though.

Is the point you wanted to convey the one of your admiration and respect for Kenny Dalglish? Wenger isn't the longest serving current Premiership manager, however. He's a good ten years behind Sir Alex Ferguson.

Yes i do love and admire the man. He's coming back to a profession he was years away from and despite making the bad signing here and their... he is top class.
his past track record is very impressive.

Wenger is still one of the biggest names in the game but he went stale and trophyless for so long that makes people question his pedigree, which i dont doubt, instead of his motivation and hunger, which i doubt...
still he managed to get a great team of bergkamp, petit, henry, overmars, vieira, pires etc. play for him and play some of the best football EPL has seen...but when he found himself working with arshavin, chamakh and roscikys of this world he struggled to challenge for much and i dont blame him, although he should have changed the style of play to suit the lack of talent...

Fun fact about Van Persie.
Having played a season more, he has scored 13 goals less than Darren Bent who has played in some rather dross teams in that time. RVP has had 2 more red cards, 21 more yellows... and is a year older.
Having a great season but boy are memories short.

One might add that Van Persie has 38 assists while Darren Bent has just 6 and that's not even counting his time in Feyenoord and Champions League games.

I was SHOCKED when I found out that RvP is 28 years old, I kind of though he is still just 24 or 25.
Man, time passes by....

what are you trying to suggest?
Van Persie regularly spent half a season on the sidelines injured.
Don't make me press the ban button.

Has Wenger admitted that he has 40m to spend though?
I mean you don't get Benanoon on loan if you actually have money
Next he'll be signing Niko Kranjcar and Roman Pavlychenko
