Azeri sports site reported that Fener will be demoted to 1st league if they found guilty. How strong are chances of this happening?

Karabukspor just made an announcement that they have papers proving Emenike didn't have clearance to play in both games against Fenerbahce and Trabzon, but they don't know exactly why he's being investigated so they won't make an appeal until it's clear.

It was CNN Turk that reported it by the way, all you had to do was ask

It was only sezer and umit karan. Don't make it sound as if the whole team was in on it please. Plus as bad as umit is did they really expect him to play any worse? I think umit got money for something else and that was to encourage sezer to sign for Fenerbahce at the end of the year. Even BJK's compounds were searched, nothing like this happened at Eskisehir. The only persons involved were the 3 little pigs bulent uygun, umit karan and sezer ozturk which thankfully will not be a part of this team anymore.

Yes Tolga. In England, journalists don't have to proof check their sources because they can reference anything they hear or read at the bottom of their article. Or in the BBC's and Guardian's case, just downright plagiarise because we don't have self-regulatory bodies such as the Press Complaints Commission, Ofcom and so on to prevent bullshit from regularly appearing in British media...

Yeah well, that's kind of normal is it not? Besides. Websites like Karakartal.com aren't even fan sites, they are made by a big bureau and they have really nothing to do with Besiktas whatsoever. They just report Besiktas news with a bit of a "biased" opinion, but quite frequently also report bullshit to destabilize the club.

We don't even know yet.
Law states that relegation, point deductions, prison terms and fines are all a possibility. However the seriousness of the corruption allegations are not known yet and we shall find out soon.
No one has yet been charged with anything. Usually after an arrest leads to a charge or bail but Turkey is just weird with these arrests which suggests that the courts or police or whatever are trying to display a show of force as well.

And what a great job they're doing, absolutely no inaccuracies in the English media, not now and not ever!

Make of this one what you will.
(Again, shit translation).
-----------
The board got together at 10am on the morning of July 4th, 2011 to make the following statements public.
1 - They have full faith in the Turkish justice system, that the issue will be resolved in the most timely manner and have no doubt that justice will prevail. The club's lawyers are working constantly to keep track of it all and will do what's necessary without delay.
2 - As a club of 104 years of history, and one of the world's greatest sports clubs with hundreds of employees, close to 2,000 sports personnel, trading on the stock market, blah blah blah, will continue today and tomorrow as it always has. Whatever the circumstances the club has the strength to meet it's obligations to the fullest of it's ability.
3 - As this news is still very fresh there are a lot of false statements and speculations arising. To avoid the smearing of information and whatnot, we urge people to ignore any statements made aboutthe club outside of those that are officially released by the club itself. We expect media outlets and journalists to resist making false statements about as yet unresolved matters with the intention of harming the club.

So its been 2 days now, and no concrete evidence has been announced by the police, no evidence has been passed along to the club, the accusations are vague and general - something doesn't smell right at all.

2 things that bother me.
1. Our fans suck right now. They are all moping around and not showing any support. We had like 1500 people show up to the stadium a couple days ago. It's pathetic. There isn't much they can do, but they need to show the yonetim and the squad the support they showed back when we were in Antalya. Stuff like that goes a long way.
2. Smear campaigns. At the moment, without any real evidence, this is doing nothing more than unsettling the club in a time where they need to focus. Our media is just as bad as they are exaggerating all kinds of claims in this, and proving they are just as uninformed as the people who are starting the accusations. Just yesterday before Karabukspor makes an official statement, they make up stories that Emenike had medical clearance to play, when in fact he didn't.
Pathetic. The whole thing is annoying. Turkish national team players are coming back to camp early to get the team all together as one. The fans need to follow suit and show support to help them get their minds off of this. Aykut needs to use all of this as ammo to get this team fired up for the season.
If these accusations fail, Fenerbahce is going to come out with all cylinders this year.

What really took my attention were the faces of those being taken into questioning, in particular Bulent Uygun.
He was escorted into the police station with a look of absolute bemusement, very confused and shrugging his shoulders.
He was escorted out of the police station and into a police car to be taken back to wherever they picked him up from, and on his way out he was smiling and laughing all the way to the car.

Something smells funny with all this saga. I just cant put my finger on it: Aziz yildirim always had very strong ties with the military, when you think it that way it is not such a big surprise that his number is called upon especially days after the TFF and the general elections. As a 30+ years GS fan, I am very very disturbed by the handling of this operation. 2 days past and still all we have is speculations and hearsay. It really screames :political agenda.
BTW to all those who believe that prosecuters would not start something as big as this one without any concerete proof: "where the hell have you been living (I know nearly all of us live abroad but you understand what I mean) for the last 5 years??"

Ok I'm getting confused here, is the Eskisehirspor match in question the one against Fenerbahce or Trabzonspor? I'm getting conflicting reports here.

Aziz Yildirim has been accused of 15 different things, still nothing clear and concrete... continue as status quo. Nothing more than re-hashing what has been said in the last couple days. Throwing in some FIFA things blah blah, - ifade edildi -

Lol, the media's milking this for all its worth. They're having a ball... I'm pretty sure they have guys making things up on the spot.
"The business of a journalist now is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, fall at the feet of Mammon and sell himself for his daily bread. We are tools, vessels of rich men behind the scenes, we are jumping jacks. They pull the strings; we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are the properties of these men. We are intellectual prostitutes."

Aziz was laughing too, same with Emenike.
Kinda sums up the whole thing, its a pretty big joke the way it's being conducted.
