The Benítez-thread wasn't deleted, it's merged into this one, boys

Atlético don't need a mediapunta, we need a organizador, someone who'll play a bit deeper and pull the strings. The ball also has to reach the creative players upfront and this is a area where we're really lacking right now. Jurado was a mediapunta.

Elías has got the best off the ball movement in this team so he'll get his chance next season, I'm not worried at all about him. He's really a goal threat when he's doing his runs off the ball.

Gabi would be a great signing for €3m, but I'd still like to see Koke or Elias partnering Mario in the midfield. We do need a bit more creativity though, someone like Parejo would be ideal for us.

Happy with Piatti especially as he has an Italian passport. I'd love to see Arda come in as well but I'm not sure about that, as there are only 3 non-EU slots I think it could be between signing him or keeping faith in Salvio. As for the striker, who knows? We can dream about the likes of Hulk, Falcao or Lavezzi but we'll end up with someone like Osvaldo or Caicedo. Not getting my hopes up.

As you can see, Inler is giving up CL with Udinese and rejected CL with Napoli to agree terms with a trash Juventus side. Like I said, in football..one season of CL does not trump "bigger club card."

Luis Enrique is rumoured to be the next coach for Roma and in the last week there has been less speculation about him joining Atletico. We might end up with Benitez I suppose.
