Are you for on a wind up?  Alonso was Spain's best midfielder.
As for Torres, don't think it's a coincidence Villa didn't score any goals with no Torres in the team (or another target man).

Gourcuff was not even that bad, he just didn't make much of an impact. If you read teh reports, it was actually the singling of him out as the weak link/bad spot on the team that led to Anelka's blowup.

Judging by replies that's what is going on here.
The worst player was someone noone really noticed that existed in this WC. Or they noticed their existance, but didn't really remember who that noone was.
So the following question is the only one to be considered seriously:
Who the hell is Ri Jun Il. Whoever he is, he is a right candidate.
The thread starter himself picked Torres so I don't know how you came up with this idea of what this thread means.

Alonso wasn't the problem. They were playing 2 players in the same position (Alonso and Busquets).
