Freddy Adu was more overrated.

But wasn't the USA supposed to be a world power by now? 94-10 is still 16 years, enough to grow a new crop players.

What are you talking about? Surely its because they have 0,0 interest in this game, or else they would have totally dominated the game.

ah yes, the famous "we could rule this game but we don't want to" excuse

like those retards at Bigsoccer who seriously claimed they would dominate "soccer" if athletes like Byant and LeBron would be given couple of years to learn soccer skills.

Those Americans don't even know the name of the sport we love so much. I don't know why they fail so much at fitting in.
Formerly Köyel, Cambs, Veteran, Nick Clegg.. You name it.

Seen him a couple of times since he has joined Everton and he looks to be doing quite well there.

Against Liverpool recently one of the few Everton players that was looking to take on and beat players, make something happen.

Landon Donovan is a decent player playing in the most celebrity orientated country in the world. Behind Beckham, he is the celebrity of football there, so therefore will be used in many advertising campaigns especially those aimed at children as the US is a country where football is massive among its youngsters.

As a player he is decent, he can play pretty much everywhere and he will work very hard where ever he plays. He is lightning quick and has a very good centre of gravity, and can do some top things with the football. Tactically though he is very poor, probably coming from him playing in a second rate league, and he is also inconsistent.

He's also a very marketable guy. Although he speaks it poorly, he's not afraid to give interviews in spanish and that sets him apart from other people. He's a good player, probably not as ambitious early in his career as others wanted him to be, but he has talent and has made a good career for himself. I mean, I've never heard him calling himself the best or anyone else for that matter. I don't believe he is overrated, he's rated fairly.

Real good player, obvious talents and qualities. His problem has allways been a total sissy and momma's boy who didnt have the balls to leave his cozy beach instead of having a real go at top football.

But MLS was too low of standard of him, so good thing he finally left, and staying this time one would think instead of go back again. Because he has looked real well in the Everton games I have seen.

Best player we got and a very smart guy as well. Sometimes I wonder if he can handle pressure situations but he is a good player. Clearly google search brings up a lot of hits because he is American not because google thinks he is a better player then Pavel Nedved was.
