Not to rain on everyone's parade, but there is nothing in that Super Deporte article that says "pre-contract". It says that they have agreed in principle to a deal. Big difference...
dunno read it on another site,, says that they signed a precontract,, and i wasn't bothered using Google translate
strange it was a source i trusted really well, and still do

Can Standard fans (or anyone watching Belgium league) say some more things about him. What kind of player is he?What personality.Someone said on other Valencia forum that he is not good guy,he mentioned that Milan bite someones ear or something. Can you tell us more about those things.Whats his best position in team and other things.I mean I know lots of this things because I am Serbian, but people here don't beleive me

I watch him and Standard every single weekend.
Jovanović is very direct, fast and powerful. Pretty good dribbler, doesn't do fancy tricks, rather bursts onto goal and tries to be a lot more direct than players in Spain. He's got good technical ability, plenty of strength and the guy is also a distinct finisher. He's brought two league titles to Standard since he came to the club on a free transfer and been a keyplayer for Serbia in the World Cup Qualifiers as you know, we're ahead of France and Romania in that group. Jovanović played as a striker when Michel Preud'homme coached Standard Ličge two seasons ago, he ended up being the top-scorer in Jupiler League that season but was converted into a right-winger when László Bölöni joined the club in 2008. Jovanović doesn't just score goals, he gives plenty of assists and is a true teamplayer. He always gives 100% on the pitch.
He's a bit controversial and always speaks his mind which people have learned in Belgium. Footballplayers these days are like robots who repeat the same thing over and over again, Jovanović certainly isn't one of those. Very passionate player with a lot of character.
Mbokani and Jovanović - he actually got Mbokani subbed off after the latter refused to make a pass which would've been a sitter for Jova. The guy is something of a nutcase, but in a good way. He also got into a verbal fight about a penalty with Axel Witsel once and they're always discussing who should be taking care of those, but Jovanović is basically superb from the spot, rarely have I seen him miss a penalty.
I don't see why Valencia needs him though, this club has plenty of great players, especially wingers coming through. Pablo should be playing there and there's still a pretty crappy Joaquín

selling Zigic was big on the agenda this summer so Gomez might be looking to do the same next summer or Gomez might not be impressed with Miku who is very raw as a striker at 24.
