Real Madrid Christmas Lunch

Following tradition, the first football and basketball teams met for lunch at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The luncheon was presided by Florentino Perez. The President gave a toast, wishing both teams to be very successful in 2010.
The first to arrive at the stadium at 14:00 were goalkeepers Casillas, Dudek and Adan. Honorary President Alfredo di Stefano was already there and greeted them. Argentines Higuain and Garay met the legendary player, and so did Raul upon arrival, whom Di Stefano congratulated for the recent birth of his daughter.
During the cocktail, players from both squads chatted effusively. Ruben de la Red rejoined his team-mates, while Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Garay and Benzema arrived to their first ever Real Madrid Christmas luncheon. Raul and Ramos talked to Sergio Llull and aksed him about his injury. Meanwhile, coaches Pellegrini and Messina shared coaching tips.
President Perez, Director General Jorge Valdano, Sporting Director Miguel Pardeza, and Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño talked to all the players. Basketball Section Director Antonio Maceiras did the same. The luncheon was also attended by the Club's Board Members, Medical Staff and equipment managers.
Lunch was served at 15:00 and both teams were mixed in the seating. Florentino Perez sat with Alfredo di Stefano; coaches Pellegini and Maceiras; captains Raul and Felipe Reyes; Honorary Basketball President Emilano Rodriguez; and Vice-Presidents Fernando Fernandez Tapias and Eduardo Fernanded de Blas.
Spaniards De la Red, Granero, Albiol, Arbeloa, Adan and Xabi Alonso sat with Van den Spiegel and Hervelle. Captains Guti, Casillas and Ramos shared a table with Higuain, Garay, Garbajosa, Llull and Sergi Vidal.
