The Road to the WC 2010 - South Africa
WC 2010 Quali draw:
POT 1: Italië, Spanje, Duitsland, Tsjechië, Frankrijk, Portugal, Nederland, Kroatië, Griekenland
POT 2: Engeland, Roemenië, Schotland, Turkije, Bulgarije, Rusland, Polen, Zweden, Israël
POT 3: Noorwegen, Oekraïne, Servië, Denemarken, Noord-Ierland, Ierland, Finland, Zwitserland, België
POT 4: Slovakije, Bosnië-Herzegovina, Hongarije, Moldavië, Wales, Macedonië, Wit-Rusland, Litouwen, Cyprus

A small advantage that we are in Pot 3 ... Now we won't have a draw were we meet and Portugal and Serbia and Poland.
Meanwhile Michel Preud'homme said he isn't really interested and that the FA should go on with VDE.

I see many people on several forums ask for Israel. Big mistake. Israel has one of the best home records in the whole of Europe. Since they joined UEFA almost 15 years ago, they have lost only 3 games at home. Tel Aviv is one of the most difficult places in UEFA to get a result, so I don't get why everybody would be so happy with Israel. From pot 2, Bulgaria would be a LOT easier.
Apart from that: pot 1 only has Greece as somewhat managable team.
Pot 4: I would go for Cyprus or Lithuania.
Pot 5: Liechtenstein
Pot 6: anyone but Montenegro (maybe take Luxembourg because that is cheaper to travel to than Faroe Islands or Azerbaijan)

And a battle it will be
I can't wait to go to Brussles with 20 000 others Bosnia fans by my side again.
I don't think any of us will finish first in this group but I hope I'm proven wrong.

If Belgium or Bosnia wins this group I'm going to the northpole by foot
I wonder if you're going to beat Turkey if we speak about attendance in Brussels

It really depends on the situation with our FA. At the moment many fans are boycotting the NT because of their corruption. But things might change. The players who are boycotting the NT right now are also set to return.

Barbarez is among those players who started boycotting the NT. I don't think he'll return, he's too old.
Milenkovic is a tool, I really hope that idiot of a coach we have now doesn't call him up.
My ideal formation:
----------------- Hasagic
Berberovic -- Spahic -- Pandza -- Papac
-------- Rahimic ------- Bajramovic
----- Misimovic ----------- Salihovic
--------- Dzeko ---- Muslimovic

Papac : Rangers
Rahimic : CSKA ?
Bajramovic (Schalke)
Misimovic (Nurnberg)
Muslimovic (CM 01/02 )
are the only ones who ring a bell. No place for Custovic ?

Cant agree with you on that one. he was the only serb that gave 100% in the Beograd game.Bajic faked an injury and Misimovic looked scared. Plus he is respected by the players and fans.

Well, Spain are the big favourites. They always do great in qualifications, while they suck at the big tournaments. Turkey, well ... You can't say they are bad I guess Bosnia we still know from some years ago. It's always tricky to play East European countries, especially there.
It will be very, very, very, extremely though to qualify.

Milenkovic is bad, bad and extremely bad. I even suspect him from heading a ball in his own goal this weekend on purpose. He's one of those Lierse cheaters (Brabed by the Chinese bet maffia) and I guess he still gets money from them if you look how he plays

He isnt the best player but I was referring to the fact that whenever he played for the NT he gave 100% and we cant say that for all our players.

I would give 100% too, does that mean I should be called up? No
Milenkovic isn't as good as he used to be, he's really a crap crap player nowadays and makes a fool out of himself at almost every game he plays here in Belgium. I don't want to see him playing against the best attackers of Spain, Turkey and Belgium.

considering that he was born in Serbia and still gave 100% vs Serbia in Beograd where pussies like Bajic faked injuries not to play. That earned him a lot of respect from BiH players and fans.Is he a starter?no,but as bad as he might be he deserves to be on the squad ahead of chumps like Bajic,Radeljic,Aracic,Kerkez,,etc

The first reactions of some players:
Daniel Van Buyten: 'If we lose against Spain and Turkey, but win all our other games, I believe we can get the qualification'
Nicolas Lombaerts: 'We'll have to win all our home games to qualify. Turkey is almost as good as Spain, and also Bosnia isn't bad at all.'
Steven Defour: 'We stand a chance against Turkey. We'll have to battle with them for the second spot in this group.'
