I hope that company ( the one that sponsors Gandzasar ) can invest some capital into the city of Kapan. It would be awesome if someday Kapan could rival with Yerevan. A new stadium would be nice; one with a capacity of about 10 to 12 thousand.

if i remember correctly one interview a while back said they were building a new stadium. i cant remember when this was, and it wouldnt be too big either. probably like 5000-7000. theres not enough people in kapan to constantly have around 10,000 each game.

7000 would be great. But 10,000 would be futuristically thinking. OR, they can build one with 7000 with a space of adding another 5000 in the future.

Gandzasar doesn't suck any more than Shirak. Finishing 5th is not so bad. And I'll always be a fan if only because they are based outside of Yerevan, and actually get support.
A new stadium would be awesome...let's wait and see.

Gandzasar played a friendly match with Patani and won 8-0. Also played against newly formed Ulysses-2 and tied 1-1. I think it was an experimental side though..

Also, I think two Singapore national team players (One U-23, and one Main team) of Nigerian descent are on trial at Gandzasar. Two to three more foreigners are expected on trial as well.
