Well nice to see a fairly strong Iranian community and well I'm not surprised cause soccer has always been a big part of Iranian lifestyle especially in my family.

Bad nistam Rafo.

LOL I'm actually totally the opposite of a Brit man.

Living in Australia we don't really like the Brits too much and well my origin is as far away as you can get from being an Englishman.

But I was brought up watching British football so that explains why I support United. That and my relatives and father are all United fans as well.

I'm really into Asian football though and always look out for new players to emerge from any parts of Asia (especially Iran and Japan...my other half- interesting mix eh?

) and I think the future for Asian soccer is pretty good.

An Iranian forum would be mad but then again there isn't exactly enough people and the league isn't the most fascinating...and we all know the reason for that.

Yeah, Azadegan is far from being interesting, more of a freakshow, especially the problems of refereeing. The teams suck big time, but still there are many unbelievably breathtaking talents.
Japan and Korea are still way better than Iran and Saudi, may Ciro change this.

Japan and South Korea way better than Iran? Hmm...I don't agree there...I always thought these three countries were quite equal in being the dominant country in Asia, althought Japan has a slight edge recently. But with Japan and South Korea already in the WC02, Iran will be nearly a definate favourite to qualify and hopefully one of these countries will do well in the WC...although realistically its highly doubtful.
