Hi, Im brasilian but my grandfather was polish from Lodz. He left in the 40's for quite obvious reasons, no need to comment 'em. He died b4 I was born, when my father was only 12. All his documentations are quite hard to find, Im definetly willing to fin 'em so I can get my Polish citizenship.

Is there a club from Lodz playing in Polishs first division? im willing to make a trip there and make a test for playing in such club.

Yeah there is such a club - Widzew £ódŸ, but this team is a piece of shit if I should to be honest..

There are two big clubs in Lodz, one of them mentioned by Studi, another one is called LKS Lodz (2nd division side).

As you can see in the Liga Polska thread, Widzew is struggling to avoid relagation at present and if you ask me, next season they will play in a lower division. If the club survives...

You're saying you're Brasilian, right? Then you're on the right path! There are now five or more Brasilians in Widzew Lodz, one more isn't going to make them any difference

Widzew Lodz may be struggling to survive (they will play in second division next season) but in the past they were very successful team that played in the Champions Cup semi final. They also qualified to the Champions League teice - in 1996 and 1999.

LKS Lodz is now 8th in second division. In 1958 and 1998 they have won the Polish Championship.

PS. Lodz is a strange city in central Poland with all the worst political and public scandals going on all the time so it isnt the best place for summer vacation

Ehmm...some correction:

Widzew Lodz may even not exist if they will fall to second.
and Widzew last time played in ChL in 1996 no 1999
1999 was the year thay last time played in European Cups
