Hey, don't get too mad about the FIFA rankings, they are a joke anyway. Being at 36th place is pretty high for me anyway and if we don't gain any places following our victories against world football superpowers Cyprus and Malta, that's fine with me.

Yep, it's not like Cyprus and Malta are some big footballing names, and on the rankings are below us, so one would think that by beating teams like that, you don't get many points if any at all. 36 place seems pretty good to me as well, eventhough I wouldn't mind beeing a bit higher.

Of course the best news is that Sandi is back, also good is that Bane seems to be back. So that would mean solid defence again. In the midfield we are strong as usual, and the concurence is really harsh there. In attack we are a bit thin, so I guess Zahoviè will be there to partner Šiljo again! Anyway the preparations for the cruical game will last ten days, so we have a lot of time to really prepare to the best possible way.

Indeed a great line up, maybe I'd just put in Bane instead of Cipot, but I'm not sure about his injury. Otherwise it surely looks super.
Knowing Prašnikar he might start Gajser instead of Koren, but Koren will certainly have his chance. The way I see it, he should start though!

Yes, I think Prasnikar will start with Gajser instead of Koren too. And maybe with Bulajic instead of Cipot, however I would be more comfortable with Cipot, since Bulajic was a real disaster in his last two NT games (Switzerland and Cyprus).

Great line-up. It is a real joy to see that our defense is falling back into shape.

I think that we are going to be really competitive since we have 10 days preperation. Does anyone know why Cimerotic wasn't named in the squad??

Good to see Acimovic back also.

I belive Cime is injured yet again, hell we should be used to this by now. I can't remember the last time he put two consucetive games togather. It's a real shame, becouse with him we would certainly have another deadly striker to go along an inform Šiljo of late.
About Mile, I'm not sure as to what his role might be like now. He was supposed to be ZZ's successor, but it became more than obvious that Nastja is taking over that role now. So I guess he will have to be content with the joker role that he is so familiar with.

Great to hear that we will have 10 days to prepair for the game! As far as the line-up concerns I would rather see a 4-men defence that a 3-one, since Alex will not be 100% ready IMVHO.

Everytime he gets injured I doubt he'll ever be able to play again. He's just soo injury-prone

Let's hope so. He is a very skilled player and can manage to score some very good goals. I will never forget his goal against Spain at the World Cup or his goal against Italy. I can't wait to see him and Siljak pair up front.

Sure, I miss Cime also. If he only didn't have those glassy legs of his, damn!

Nina playing with three defenders is our style, and it's very unlikely that it will change sometime soon. Why change it if it works? And I guess we all have to wait and see how will Sandi do, you know he still has the German cup final to play, so in the worst case,... NO, no, he will be OK!

Actually... if he has to play another game ther i would say that there is almost 90% chance he will get injured again...

I agree, playing with three defenders is OK, specially if you have some good defensive midfielders.

I'm so pessimistic about this game....

we play without our best player (best by far), eyal berkovic. this team is so different without him..

other big dis advantage is that we play Antalya instead of Tel Aviv....
it's really sux and unfair and i think that the situation here is good enough to bring back the gaems to Israel....

we dont deserve this attitude from FIFA... or UEFA, or whatever.

and Slovenia play its away game earlier.. which means that they'll know exactly what result they need, at home, its a big advantage..

we play against all odds ..

Slovenia is a very respected team here....
we've been watchin them in Euro 2000 and WC 2002 , they were very impresive..... Osterc, Simerotic and Rakovic are very familiar here as well....

i hope that Slovenia will have a bad day against us so we can make a good result

Acutally i'm somewhat pessimistic myself...

First of all, i don't think i have ever seen israel play and they scare me a bit...

Secondly... Our defense is really bad... And i don't think Knavs's return will help much since i believe the rumours about him and the nt...

And thirdly... the return of acimovic... I hope that prasnikar is smart this time and doesn't try to put him in the first 11...
But i have my doubts since he hasn't been smart so far...
