Argentina v Paraguay away

this wednesday we'll play Paraguay in Asuncion.

we HAVE to win this game. Colombia and Ecuador are 2 points behind us; they'll be playing Uruguay and Bolivia respectively, Colombia v Uruguay is a toss-up but Ecuador will be beat Bolivia for sure. Worst case scenario we could end in 6th place with just 2 games left(Peru and Uruguay)

anyone who thinks we can win away against paraguay is really stupid.
We can't even win at home agaist one of the worst brazil teams i've ever seen.

With maradona ad without riquelme this team is lost.

To be fair, Riquelme with all the injury problems he's been having this last year, really wouldn't have made much of a difference.

i wanna see if diego is brave enough to admit that he made mistake and his team selection is the worst in history and make many changes to his starting 11 for paraguay game.

lopez, romero and parejo need to start.

Defensores del Chaco is a tough place to grab a point, nevermind 3! Specially when Paraguay are a win away from getting their ticket to South Africa and facing a lovely Argentina team.

Good luck... i'll enjoy it from my couch!

I think with a little luck we could win at least 6 points out of the next 9....

5th place is worst case scenario.

The team will be in the worst mental state and far more disorganized than yesterday's match. Our backline, specially Otamendi and Seba will be far less self confident.
There is simply no time to organize this team and prepare them mentally to face Paraguay away.

We will most likely lose this game and depending on other games we are more likely to drop to the 5th or 6th place, if not 7th as itt won't be difficult for Ecuador and Venezuela to beat Bolivia and Peru respectively.

P.S last time we beat Paraguay in the qualifiers was in 1997! 12 years ago.

I do not know what the worry is about. Drama is good for moral when Argentina is concerned. Pooh, you guys will won Uruguay and Paraguay and draw with Bolivia, just for more emotions.

according to Ole... tevez, aguero, and maxi will not play against Paraguay because of injuries. dominguez is out for being shit. Heinze could go either way.

Lisandro, Gago, Schiavi, and Papa could in wednesday's lineup

Sorry, I can't resist the laugh that explains a lot, may be that is why he could play in Madrid, they needed him for Guti

Sorry, just needed a laugh, I know what do you mean.

Btw...... will Maradona resign if you guys lose? Cause the most likely result I would put money on is Argentina losing this.... Asuncion must be a party place right now.... biggest game of the decade.... going to the world cup and beating argentina to misery.... those paraguayans must be going crazy!

Defensores Del Chaco will be small and will not be silenced!!!!
