Will Malmo win it again? Also, who are their challengers? Don't know the league that well, just guessing - IFK, AIK, Elfsborg? Maybe Helsingborg and Gefle, I dunno
Rasmus doesn't seem to be back just yet. The latest I heard was that he might be able to return to action in the beginning of May.
If it all pans out for Kalmar I guess they could challenge for second place, neither IFK nor AIK look particularly solid. Most likely they'll end up midtable though.
Rasmus is coming back to Sweden? **** me what a huge disappointment. He was the one I had most hope for, then he goes to friggin Russia. Talk about poor career choice. In general 3 Swedish NT midfielders going there was bizzare. Slow down their careers.
Some pretty sweet goals this round. Kennedy's for Bajen vs Djurgården was the best though. Closely followed by the Totti-esque lob by that Falkenberg player.
Amazing title win by IFK Norrköping but completely deserved.
A team with no stars based in many academy players managed to beat the heavyweights IFK Göteborg and AIK and win the league for the first time since 1989. Back then they waited 26 years for a title win (since 1963) and funny enough they have now waited 26 years again to a new win.
Huge feat by Janne Andersson bringing back "Peking" to the top of Allsvenskan. Definitely one of the biggest shock wins in the history of this league.
With this win they climb to third place in the list of clubs with more title wins in Sweden with 13 titles behind IFK Göteborg and Malmö FF which have both 18.
Just read the beginning of this thread with all the predictions of what could happen in this Allsvenskan and couldn't stop laughing at Nacka's "second place fight by Kalmar". I hope you don't bet!
It was about as likely as Norrköping winning the league.
Unfortunately for Kalmar instead of everything panning out, everything turned to crap. Rasmus Elm's return became a distraction rather than a reinforcement.
Åtvidaberg had a miserable run finishing in last place but yesterday they went out with a bang. Simon Skrabb's goal is definitely the best of this season:
