Circus League changing name to BH Telecom Premijer Liga in the next two seasons.

Great news  Hopefully this should lead to some long-needed modernisation in terms of broadcasting, presentation, marketing and maybe even financing.

I'm not sure mate but I also hope so. As for the sponsorship deal every club gets 56 000 KM. Zeljo and Siroki were against because BHTelecom would take marketing space from companies that can afford to pay more than 56k (I guess we will see BHT banners everywhere), but now an agreement has been reached.

At well under 1,000,000KM the size of the deal is modest, but the advantage of signing up with a communications company like BH Telecom is that they are likely to massively increase the profile of the league to make the most of their investment. Expect downloadable goals, ads featuring BiH PL and possibly NT stars, and regular television coverage.

From this perspective, it's infinitely better that signing a deal with, say, a brewery.

Football: Uefa hands out first financial fair play penalties

Uefa has imposed its first financial fair play sanctions by temporarily withholding prize money from 23 clubs for failing to comply with the rules.

Europa League winners Atletico Madrid, Malaga, Sporting and Fenerbahce are among those under scrutiny.

Clubs face further investigation because of overdue payments to other clubs, employees or tax authorities.

European football's governing body introduced the rules to force clubs to operate within their means.

The 23 clubs have been given a deadline of 30 September to prove that their finances are in order.

You guys know what I don't understand? Portugal's population is twice ours, yet they are the 4th best team in the world, with the best player in the world, with clubs that could win any good league, and a country that could win the Euro and WC

They also pull off stadiums like this:

But we, this:

I really hope FKS gets the statut approved and those Turks invest. Kosevo could potentially be renovated to a Marakana style stadium

So first you want Bosnia to become like Brazil and now you want us to become like Portugal?

You might aswell quit dreaming now, our country is still in the phase of building an interstate highway, let alone to think about building world-class football stadiums on a mass scale.

Nope, just using it as an example as to what other Southern European countries are like in comparison to ours, ofcourse, our league reflects on this. What is your take, Green Beret? How does one improve corruption in the league?

:proud: :proud: :howler:

:wallbang:

We also don't have a 230,000,000+ strong former Empire to draw on for our talent pool, decades worth of EU development funds, or Spain and its footballing infrastructure as an immediate neighbor. Point being, it's a terrible comparison.

Also man, don't forget, if we had the money we could naturalize players just like Italy, Portugal and others do.
We also wouldn't be a dirt-poor institutional wreck in Europe's armpit

Well, all it could do is give Sarajevo, Zeljo, etc. better competition. And of course, much better attendance in the regional games, too. I don't see any negatives coming out of a regional league besides the fan fights.
