the thing i I think it is out of print. There is Viagem ao Redor de Pele, Historia do Foot-ball, and Negro no futebol brasileiro, which ends with a chapter about 1958 team.
In doubt, go to www.estantevirtual.com.br and search for his books. Almost all brazilian sebos are there.

ah, you got me when you said chronicle. Maybe if it is pure stats, you wont need so much the translations.

Nah, stats can be found on the net. I did mean actual books. But Galeano's book was more of a collection of stories, while I'm looking for factual history.

Check out "The Beautiful Game". Forget the author's name but it's a nice little history of South America and the national team/leagues.

just like every 2nd adult male. Not his fault this 40% shit flows down the neck like a water. Everyone would want to be in his shoes, world beater on pitch, celebrity off it. Every woman wanted to have a kid with him, how he, simple man, could resist ?

I know it´s kinda fashion that nowadays athletes are supposed to be role models. He was a simple man, growing up in poverty, basically a cripple noone wanted, and he still managed to become an world beater. His passion carried him through all difficulties to a top of the world, and his passion also killed him.
No need to be hard on him.

Rsssf Football Experts and Statisticians
Inspite of using rsssf.com as a reference of my work for a long time, I overlook to discuss with their experts and statisticians. They are amatuer status and should be reachable. Now I find contact list and a brief biography of them in http://www.rsssf.com/profiles.html. I wil start to discuss with them to acquire a useful knowledge, statistics and evidence of rating to support my rating players in my series. This is useful for yous who interested in football legends as well.
