She was real good, provided nothing was tempting her otherwise.
But I suppose you'd call that Ring Fever, which every great player's got to have.

why on earth didn't you sign him? for as little as 2 million valencia asked, sure he was worth it !
now he's stuck somewhere in cosenza i believe, but surely his carreer could have turned out other way, if la viola took him over.

At his peak (21-24 or so) he was on a very high level. First he won two Scudetti in Juve, but was never a regular. Scored a famous hat trick against Milan though. But in Verona he blossomed, was the top scorer when they won the Scudetto and played every game in the 1986 World Cup. But that's pretty much when the downslide began and in a couple of years he was essentially already a Serie B player. Definitely a successful one, but still...
Not a great finisher by any means but a speedy little guy who could create things. In the end, however, I'd rate him among the weakest forwards that Italy has had as a starter in major tournaments...
Irriducibili? No thanks, I'm a fan of Lazio.

His best asset was speed. Yet still he was not a star, but a good finisher. Not a Lentini, nor a Ravanelli, of course not a Schillaci. He reminds me of Evaristo Beccalosi a bit.
Every energy, smile, blink, inbreath, heartbeat skip, gesture of longing in my life comes from you,Toro!
