Heynckes will use Schweinsteiger from the start.
The question is: Kroos, Müller or Gustavo to be benched?
If Gustavo... the semifinal will be over in the Allianz Arena. They will trash us.
I'm fine with benching Kroos or Müller, though I think it should be Müller. I don't blame him for our recent missfortune, but I do think we should use the in-form Kroos for this match.

Yes, agree. Play Schweine+gustavo and Kroos instead of Mueller, even though I don't think Kroos is ideal as a CAM, but there's no other option at the moment.
And Mueller always seems to make an impact whenever he comes off the bench.

Don't worry, I just got my tickets today for the 2nd leg at the Bernabeu. I promise to be rude, argumentative, and give the travelling fans a piece of my mind.

I actually miss Roberto Carlos because no matter who we fielded, even a player from either the junior squad or legends team would rip him apart on the pitch.

Sure Frank..
But don't you remember Oliver Kahn letting in that howler from Carlos' free-kick?

Statistics speak for us but I am not as confident as I used to be in the last decade when playing Real.

More than the match up of the squads, it's the match up of Mourinho vs Jupp that put's us at a disadvantage.
I'm no fan of Mourinho, but he knows how to win 2 leg ties and how to plan for big games. Let just say our chances would increase by 20% if the squads were the same but the managers were swapped.
Now Mourniho vs Hitz would have been a great contest!
Hitz has called it right btw, Lahm has to have a stellar game on the left keeping an eye on Ronaldo which means Robben is going to be on his own. Boateng has to be tight too since Ronaldo drifts in more often than not.
I'd like to see Badstuber hit a lot of those crossfield passes to Robben today and give him 1v1 situations.
and Neuer, it's time for him to shrink that goal.

Real needs to apply more pressure. The more space they give Bayern to work with the more it favors Bayern.

Goal should have been called an offside I think.
Good first half defensively. All these yellow cards are going to have an effect sooner or later.
Lahm picked up that stupid stupid card in Marseille and he's walking a tight rope now.

Mueller for Schweini...That's a brain dead decision by Jupp.
Mueller is going to do zero in this situation.. and now Madrid will get a foot in midfield.
