Just an update on the draws.

In the U19 Elite round we got Spain, Belgium and Armenia

Very difficult draw, and only first place goes through, so likely another miss of the U19 championship. I actually quite like the U19 team on paper, but they messed up in the first stage finishing 2nd to Romania. We lost 2-1 to Romania, Drew 1-1 with Sweden and barely beat Azerbaijan 2-1 with a last minute goal.

U17 group is just as bad, with France, Switzerland and Sweden to pass. Looks likely another summer without being in any of the 2 youth tournaments. Once again we messed up the first stage losing to Denmark and coming 2nd in the group. We lost 4-1 to Denmark in the first game, before beating Cyprus 3-0 and Austria 3-2.

Lazio were shit for sure in that match but Destro shows some good quality for sure.

How good can he become, what are his weaknesses at this stage (It's good to see that he seems to be a direct player) and which clubs are interested in taking him?

I don't care for NBA... actually there is hardly a sport I watch lately out of football.

I don't expect anything from the Euro but the Italian NT won't be easy to defeat anyway.

Indeed this is a very good bunch of young players. BTW, is Fabbrini just dropped now due to lack of playing time with Udinese?

Adding to Toni's list, I also like Crescenzi and Santon Marrone didn't play today aswell and from what Ive seen of him he looks a good general in midfield. Needs more time on the field in Serie A though.

I was kind of disappointed to first see only one Milan player. But with a closer look I realised there are actually four Milan players in that squad. Sampirisi, De Sciglio, Fossati and Beretta.

Otherwise, I don't see Donnaruma for any youth team, I thought he wasn't doing that bad and is starting every game for gubbio in serie B. Not many keepers start at that age.

The U17 got eliminated in the elite round. Lost 1-0 to France. 0-0 with Sweden and beat Switzerland 2-1, but only 1 team advances from each group to the final tournament and that was France. When was the last time Italy advanced to the final tournament in the U17s?
