Hyypia takes Leverkusen job
Former Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia has been placed in temporary charge of Bayer Leverkusen.
Hyypia will work alongside U19 coach Sascha Lewandowski until the end of the season following the dismissal of Robin Dutt after a fifth straight defeat.
Leverkusen currently lie sixth in the Bundesliga table and are fighting to secure a Europa League place for next season.
Wish him all the best,

Was just going to post it myself. Absolute Legend, I wish him success.
"If you pray enough for things, I am proof that they can happen. I feel like a kid on Christmas day now, every day. It's something I have wanted for a long time and I am as happy as anyone to be here. It is great to be back at my first love."
- Robbie Fowler on his return to Liverpool

Yes good luck to him.
Very ironic in a way that he gets appointed manager. Leverkusen's inferior showing compared to last season to a certain degree was due to the fact of Hyppia retiring from playing and there he is coming in as manager to rectify it now. His own absence as a player. He was very influential for Leverkusen even in his last playing days.
If he is half as good a manager as he was a footballer then we will be hearing more of Hyppia in the future.

Let's see how he performs there. I'd love to have him replace Kenny if Kenny stays here for a long time.

Good luck, Sami
When all the lights go out forever
Somewhere near the end of time
The noise will pass and the dust will settle
And you'll be on my mind

I think he'll make a good coach, if he does well he could come back next season or after that.
