Officiating in the farca-milan game is additional evidence that UEFA are trying to manipulate pairings and results to further their own objectives. Otherwise, why is it that it is only when Farca is threatened by elimination that we get these dubious decisions.

Poor Chelsea - even if they have a chance of beating farca, they are likely to get screwed again.

There was a dubious penalty non-call(s) in the first leg, but hey, why let facts get in the way of a nice conspiracy theory.

I believe the operative phrase is "under threat of elimination" last time I checked two tie legs are not decided on the first legs and for the record there was only one truly dubious non-call which was the Abiati against Sanchez one...the rest was usual Barca diving...

The 1st leg one wasn't a penalty either. That shit happens on every.single.corner.

The game is not about the man in green. It's a disgrace. I couldn't believe he called a penalty when the ball wasn't in play. It seems like Uefa want a certain two teams in the Champions League final. Now I understand how Mourinho feels every time he comes to Camp Nou

Let me recount a few for you
1. v Chelsea: several poor non-penalty calls kept farca in the game and robbed chelsea
2. v Arsenal: RvP gets sent off for kicking the ball less than a second after a whistle
3. v Inter: Motta gets sents off after some oscar level performance by busquets and they had to play an entire half with 10 men. A lesser team would have fallen.
4. v Milan: 2 PKs (first was soft as the defender had prior possession of the ball and had committed to the challenge before farca player took control of it, second was simply horrendous) in the first half alone. Second PK came after Milan had equalized and were threatening to eliminate farca.

As for the Sanchez PK in the first leg, Assuming that Abiatti obstructed him, the decision on giving the penalty depended on if the ref felt Sanchez would have gotten to the ball without the obstruction (which was debatable) i.e. you cant kick the ball away and run at the keeper to get a PK. If the ref deemed he couldnt, then it wasn't a penalty.

Dubious penalties both of them, It was truly a disgrace. the second was clearly in response to the Milan goal which threatened barca progression. What was also painful to watch was after every time barca lost possession, sure enough a barca freekick followed.

Chelsea stand no chance.

One might argue that not awarding a penalty (and a crucial away goal) was just as "threatening". But interesting concept, nevertheless: so even if the decisions overall aren't on Barca's favor, their timing is.
