And named the NZ Football Player of the Year tonight. Both awards well deserved.

Looks pretty happy about it.

yep, well deserved. I'm hoping that Chris Woods is going to shape up to be a player (albeit a forward) in the same mould.

Yeah, it'd be great to see Wood getting regular games for WBA in the prem, but if he's not going to see many minutes I hope the loan him out again. He needs a decent amount of playing time at his age. Even if things don't work out for him in the top flight, looks like he's at least got the build (and hopefully the talent) for a career in the Championship.

I was surprised when they picked him up. I can't see him getting much playing time, but if the move gets him a medal and a decent final pay day I'll be damn happy for him.
