In the french newspaper they just mention him at espanol.
However, he was in Israel on holiday for Israel Vs France, on an interview he said he like Israel very much and have been there many times. He also said that he followed the israeli NT and the israeli clubs in European cups.
His wife and children are jews, it may not be that strange IMO.
The only problem is that he's a crap coach

He is an excellent coach, I really wanted him for the NT position before that clown Aragones.

Well I'm impressed by his record personally, it seems like this guy fits the Beitar mentality. The man really lives the game and is very passionate about it. Not to mention he's got a Jewish wife so obviously she should push him for this job

Yeah he's a great coach! What's he doing these days? Maybe we could sign him if things don't work with the other Fernandez

According to Haaretz Fernandez has made up his mind and decided to take the job, but he needs to finish his undone business n Qatar first. It'll take him a couple of weeks.
Once he resigns I'll believe it.

Besides the coach issue, according to channel 5 sources, Gaidmak intends to target almost the entire squad of Haifa in order to win the title next year
No kidding, they say he wants to buy Katan, Idan Tal and even... Davidocivh ! Only player I want is Tal, he could be awesome for our poor defensive midfield and help us win the title. We don't need other players from Haifa I think, if we get other reinforcements for our defense. But Gaidmak might change the whole team altogether. If that's a winning team, fine

I think they will leave... contracts are ending and it's all about money and free market. Whoever Gaidmak wants he'll get. It's like Zeevi back then, everybody left for Beitar (and then left Beitar again when it collapsed). It's all a money game. Like whoever Abramovich wants. I think Gaidmak will realise he doesn't need Davidovich or Katan probably, but the whole midfield and defense of haifa will probably be on target unless Shachar will spill huge amounts of money to compete with Gaidmak (possible).

Yea i hope he does, this is exactly what i was talking about. Now that Beitar is planning on moving up several levels, teams like Haifa, Hapoel, Maccabi, and PT will realize that there needs to be a balance of powers. They need to move up along with Beitar.....and that a great thing because it raises the skill in our league and hopefully in Europe. I think Gaidmak will work hard to buy these players, he doesn't care what they do, he's got the money and he'll probably bench them. He wants them so he can weaken Haifa, not strengthen Beitar. This guy will be bringing in better players then Tal, Katan, and Davidovitch! he'll be bringing good European players, keeping some of the key players in Beitar and according to Maariv he wants to build a nice new training complex for the team. I hope he is thinking of expanding Teddy, its a beautiful stadium but that empty part with the wall ruins its beauty, it needs to be finished.
The thing i'm scared of is watching Beitar become the new Haifa but 100x better. It may be good for Europe but i think we can all agree (even beitar fans ) that if that happens then our Football league will be like our basketball league where Beitar represents the Maccabi of football. I hope that the other clubs will be able to reach an equal level with beitar, so we have several strong teams, a strong league, and great accomplishments in Europe

yeah let's hope that the other teams fellow the example of beitar and bring in more money and talented players, and other things for example an posible union of the petach tikva teams and the beer sheva teams, cause that way they can have more money, more fans and more players to chose from and make a better team, sell the crappy ones and get some extra money, if the teams get better and the petach's and sheva's fusion and become 1 big team per city i think we would have an excellent league, let's pray guys let's pray

Hapoel Jerusalem has lost it this season. **** them!! I dont really like them either way....
Maybe next season they will be good, but for the meantime....there gonna be stuck between the hammer and the anvil or in better terms, between the top liga leumit teams and the close to relegated ones..
but it would be exciting to see Hak Ramat gan do it
VIVA LA OSSTREICH!!!!!!!!!!!!
