And just look at this... Khazar won today against Qarabag and now we have a duality at the top of our league standning. Both Khazar and Neftchi now have 72 points with only 2 games left. Plus we have 3 more teams (Qarabag, Karvan, Turan) who are still capable to steal the title. I have never seen our league so exciting.

The match against Turan was simply perfect. I enjoyed it, great perfomance by Neftchi. But still I think that it's high time to replace Qurbanov with younger blood.

Futbol+ newspaper named its version of the best players of 2004-05 championship. Surprisingly, they named bulgarian Asen Nikolov from "Turan" as the best player of the season. Not that he doesn’t deserve it but I think there were more obvious candidatures.
Anyway here is the complete list from "Futbol +"

LOL, what the hell?

Aihan Abbasov? Ismayil Mamedov? Gocha?? I guess they made this list to be funny. Zaur Tagizade should be without a question the best player this season. Wheres Issa Nikiema? Leandro Gomes? Rashad Sadygov? Oktay? All of these players should be in the top 10.

Actually they had a whole list of names sorted by positions, and I noticed that majority of the players were from Turan. So it makes me wonder if there is a conspiracy behind it all
