Finally two players are currently on trial for this week.A left back and a offensive mildfielder. One from Mali and the other is Nigerian.

It would be a good test against a pretty good team of ligue 2.

First half was mainly the reserve team + the two guys on trial, second saw somes starter entering the game.

Average game, i could say. The team dominate the game especially in the first half, but players were maybe too tired from their internationals duty,to make a good game.
Like Etienne Didot said, this was a kind of game we could have draw or even lost not so long ago. A win is a win...

We are now sure to play in Ligue 1 next season, and the staff is active to prepare the next one.

• Olivier Monterrubio and Etienne Didot have arleady extended theirs contract respectively till 2007 and 2008.

• Kim Källström is likely to extend his contract too, till 2008. Despite the interest of others teams (Ajax, Glasgow Rangers) the staff said no offers has been received yet.

• Alexander Frei could extend his contract if (as he say) no other big team show its interest on him.

• The staff try to extend Toifilou Maoulida contract too till 2007. After a difficult start, Maoulida seems to have find his place in the squad, but seems that he take his time to give his answer.

• Olivier Sorlin will probably leaves Rennes at the end of the season. His contract end at the end of this season and he got offers from St-Etienne and Monaco. Rennes has given a offer too, but he won't probably stay.

• Somes doubts about Cyril Jeunechamp, who wants absolutely to play as central midfielder, and the staff wants to see him as leftback.No negociation in perspect yet.

• Frederic Piquionne might stay at St-Etienne, Rennes could get 3M€ for him.

• Arnaud Le Lan could go too, as he do not get much play time.

• Ivicar Mornar will return to Portsmouth

• The staff will probably try to loan some of our youth : Jimmy Briand, Stéphane N'Guéma and some other from our CFA squad
