UCL|Arsenal-St.Liege| 24.11.09 @ Emirates, 19:45 GMT

Sorry Tunis, but I'm bored so I've decided to create this thread.

The game itself is important. A draw qualifies us, a win qualifies us form the first place. Having Chavs in mind and a tedious international break behind us now is perfect time to rest our guns and give a run to those who lack match fitness or practice.

Almunia
Eboue Senderos Silvestre Traore/Gibbs
Nasri Denilson Ramsey
Walcott Vela Rosicky

Should be a comfortable, pleasant night at the Groove.

COME ON ARSENAL!

Traoré, Silvestre & Diaby out, plz. No more below-par players at Arsenal. As for the match; anything other than a victory shouldn't be tolerated.

Traore was terrible against sunderland, he needs to learn NOT to do bloody step overs when its 80 mins passed and we're struggling to keep the ball.

This game we need to rest our players for the chelsea match. We only really need to win the last game against olympiakos to keep top spot.
Looking forward to 10-11 season providing wenger actually buys someone half decent.

I think Denilson, Walcott and Vela will definately play to get match fitness. Same for Gibbs if he's ready.

Gallas, Sagna, Cesc, Song, and Vermaelen should get a rest for this game. We need these guys to be fit for Chelsea.

if we win tonight and olympiakos lose, then we can afford to take our reserve side to greece and afford to lose.

I think we'll win 2-1. It will be tough.

Does not matter what Olympiakos does, a victory and top spot is secured.

Hoping that Dudu plays a part in this game so he scores just so he can build up his confidence ahead of the Chelsea clash. Predicting a 2 or 3-1 scoreline.

George will be pleased

Indeed it's a fine line-up, interesting to see what Vela can make of this opportunity.

Why are Vermaelen and Gallas starting? Hopefully this doesn't screw us over for this weekend.
