Napoli vs Lazio

We should be fresh, finally!

I hear Matuzalem, Dabo and Siviglia are all out. Here's hoping Radu keeps his place, though Cribari and Diakhite have both been playing like retards lately, ugh. Maybe a 4-4-2 with a midfield looking like this:

Foggia-Brocchi-Baronio-Mauri

God, help us... *sigh*

On 2nd thoughts go with:

Brocchi-Baronio-Meghni
-------Zarate--------
---Rocchi---Cruz-----

Forza Lazio!

It's been a long time since we suffered like we have in this season, so hopefully we can finally turn it around now and get a good result against napoli.

Forza Lazio !!

Anything without Baronio is fine by me, really. Against Milan we found our game playing:

Brocchi-Matuzalem-Meghni
Zarate
Rocchi-Cruz

I'm absolutely furious if we don't try that again. We've pretty much played 45 minutes of good football this season, and those were the guys who achieved it. At least give them a chance...

FORZA LAZIO
Irriducibili? No thanks, I'm a fan of Lazio.

Bizzarri, Siviglia, Perpetuini, Dabo and Matuzalem are all injured, so after training at the NATO base sports centre, Lazio (according to gazzetta.it) could field these players in the starting 11 at Napoli:

Muslera, Lichtsteiner, Stendardo, Radu, Kolarov, Brocchi, Baronio, Mauri, Foggia, Zarate, Rocchi.

So, Ballardini tries Stendardo instead of Diakite or Cribari...

As for the tactics, probably it will be 4-4-2, or maybe 4-3-1-2, who knows.

FORZA LAZIO.

Bad news about Matuzalem...Baronio also had an injury scare but of course it had to be him who makes it to the game.

We will not win if we play cautiously, that much should be obvious by now. And every sign points to just that happening once again...

I had a dream about the game - we won 1-0 with Cruz scoring the winner. I was rather dsappointed when I woke up and realized it was just a dream. Looking at the projected line up the real outcome will probably be more like a nightmare. Stendardo? Really?
Anya: [to a customer who just finished her purchase] Please go.
Xander: Anya, the Shopkeepers Union of America called. They want me to tell you that, "Please go" just got replaced with, "Have a nice day."
Anya: But I have their money. Who cares what kind of day they have?
Xander: No one. It's just a long cultural tradition of raging insincerity. Embrace it.

Really, and with Cribari as RB to boot. Official:

Muslera
Cribari-Stendardo-Radu-Kolarov
Foggia-Brocchi-Baronio-Mauri
Zarate-Cruz

FORZA LAZIO

Apparently we play like this (can't watch the game):

Muslera
Cribari-Stendardo-Radu
Brocchi-Baronio-Mauri-Kolarov
Zarate-Foggia
Cruz

Go figure...

I have managed to watch something in the last 10 minutes.

we are playing slightly better,

a penaly could have been awarded for us for a hand ball.

zarate and cruz receive yellow cards within 2 minutes, which is bad.

Aye, finally Lazio showed something close to a team organization which put Napoli in some difficulties to create chance. Not that we created that much as well, only a Zarate's shot from the left was elbowed out by Rinaudo (?). Lazio are very compact and the defense so far played pretty decently. Second half began without substitutions

Standardo got the yellow card. Napoli are more dangerous now, and Ballardini sends Lichtsteiner on for Foggia. Really, in this begin of second half, it seems that the usual Lazio are back...

Gargano committs a bad foul on Zarate, but the referee Saccani makes the play go on.

My stream is bad so I can't say whether he really hit him, but that was clearly a punch at Cruz by Rinaudo...

0-0 final score...there might have been a handball in their last corner.

Now at 12 points, tied for the last relegation spot. 11 matches without a win. In the second half we played very defensively, not many team efforts in attack.

Overall, a nice match a well earned draw.

Napoli was one of the hottest teams before the break and they did nothing today, so we did something good today.

The standings suck big time.
