Troubles at Vaduz....
 

The club has a new coach for the rest of the season: Austrian Walter Hörmann.

Now Hörmann used to coach "my" club from September to December 2001. In this time he managed to become the worst coach of all bad coaches we had during the last years....

I hope what you are saying does not happen again at Vaduz, as it would mean certain relegation to the division below NLB :groan:

They are currently in 7th (out of 8) in NLB with 15 points (with the bottom 2 getting relegated) but are only two points out of 6th place


Hopefully the new coach has more success with a small team like Vaduz than with his previous side FK Austria, who are a big team in Austria (along with Rapid, Sturm and Tirol)

Apparently the contacts from his time at St. Gallen made the transfer possible.

A new force for Vaduz. Pascla Thüler, the Swiss old boy, leaves Austrian Bundesliga club Bregenz and moves 30km and a league...;)

I hope they stay up - my grandparents live right across the Rhein. It would be nice to have some good football close by...

Vaduz seem to have turned things around under the so called terrible coach and have won their last 3 games in a row to move up to 4th with 24pts and a 6 pt buffer to the relegation zone


Well two of these games were against bottom club Baden but the did beat 2nd placed Kriens 5-1 away from home :proud: :cool:

So Hörmann is probably a good coach for a "small" (sorry) club...
