Emil Kostadinov

Congrats on the new forum guys :)

I was wondering what Emil Kostadinov is up to right now??

As a teenager his was my hero when he was banging goals in for Porto :proud:

But I've lost track on where he's gone. Is he still playing professional football and is there any news on whether he will take up any coaching roles in football?

Thanks for any help :) I still remember that goal he scored in Paris that denied France a place in the World Cup 94 :) :strong:

Thanx for the "Congratulations", Dan :)

As far as I know Emil Kostadinov has no work in this moment. Before some months he was fired from CSKA's chairman - Luboslav Penev. There - in CSKA - Kostadinnov was something like a manager for about a year. That's all I think but maybe I'm missing something.

Ps. If he has a job in the moment it's related with managment.

Thanks, Dan
Well xtc is right Emo was kicked away from CSKA from the man who actually passed that ball for this French night goal

And I think they faced some financial problems, the less men to get the cash from the sell out in CSKA the better for them.

And he now has an agency trying to sell some players even from the rivals (Levski) Still quite fresh agency, but I expect them to have success soon.

Thanks guys! :)

I hope he can find a steady management job some time soon....I would love to see him come back to Porto in some sort of coaching/management role one day :hopefull:

I doubt he'd be a coach, but he'd achieve recognition as a manager, I guess because he already has steady relations with many football people.

Dan, thanx

Kosta is a manager now as the other guys have said. I am glad to see that a Bulgarian football player has left a good name behind him and is still remembered for good reasons.

I also do not think he could be a coach - too nervous and impatient for that job - but could turn out to be a really good manager ...
