It's more of a game than a reality show. The one that remains in the house at the end (wich will probably never come because when one leaves a new contestant enters) wins 2 million euro and the house. Only rule is no physical abuse.

The pictures just try and make a serious matter light hearted, it does nothing to offend anyone.

But i agree what happened at Glasgow was not funny and Is a wake up call to our govt to step up immigration laws.

Why Football Grounds are like Women

1. There is a vast difference in grounds with regards to length and width, thus varying the quality of play.
2. Pitches vary from the well grassed to the completley bald.
3. Remember, it is possible to score at both ends.
4. Tackling from behind is not always an offence, check with ground owner.
5. Be careful, as after a few pints a ground appears to be of NB1 standard, but in reality would not even be eligible as a council dumping ground.
6. Only some grounds offer five a side facilities.
7. Don't ever make public your desires to play at Megyeri út, also never mention pitches previuosly visited.
8. Extra time is dependant on subsequent pitch bookings.
9. If the ground does not seem to have undersoil heating, suggest calling the game off, possibly even contact a coroner.
10. When building a team it is always nice to finish with Seaman at the back.
11. Wet pitches allow for long sliding tackles.
12. Always ask before leaving the pitch and entering the tunnel, do not expect to be allowed to come straight from the tunnell to the goal mouth and score. that can leave an awful taste in the mouth of the pitch owner and may prevent further use of the ground.
13. Personal morals may be compromised by local derbies.
14. It is illegal to play on small,unturfed pitches.
15. From time to time the goal may be obstructed by a highly absorbant goalie.
16. Bulgarian grounds are frequently more grassy.
17. French grounds are frequently very nice too look at, however there can be sometimes an awful smell from the terraces which don’t get hosed down as often as they should.
18. Very few grounds are found with executive boxes.
19. Be wary of grounds with room for coaches.
20. Always be on the lookout for grounds that host ladies footy two evenings a week.
21. Pitches with a waterlogged end, can be out of bounds for up to 5 days a month, although this can be longer if u piss the owner off by continually asking to play up the good end instead.
22. Players must agree personal terms with the club before being allowed to play on the turf.
23. Always look for a ground that has never been played on before (or at least hasn’t had many visits). that said, well used grounds may have better facilities and will really know how to get the best out of a player.

On last night's SBS World News bulletin, this was one of the featured stories. From their site, a transcript can be found; thought I'd share it:

FAMILY REUNITED AFTER 50 YEARS APART

A Melbourne couple have been reunited with their son 50 years after revolution tore them apart. Helen Máté and her husband fled Hungary during the 1956 uprising. They left 2-year-old Erno with his grandparents for what they hoped would be a brief period, but circumstances intervened, and it turned out to be half a century.

This was the moment 76-year-old Helen Máté had been waiting for. The 2-year-old boy she'd left behind now a 53-year-old man with a wife and family of his own. Erno speaks no English. Words weren't needed.

Helen Máté, mother: It is glorious, glorious to see my son. After 50 years I haven't seen him, and it's glorious to see him, absolutely.

In 1956 Helen and her husband fled Hungary to Austria during the Hungarian revolution. For safety, they left Erno with his grandmother. I considered posting this in the random picture thread, but decided not to as this thread is broader; the other is pictures and little else.

Yesterday I went to the city, and after exiting "Sushi Ten" [sushi place which serves some of the freshest of its kind], I was inspecting the various shops which ran along inside the mall. One caught my eye, and I realised that it was a store selling items of a Japanese theme. To be honest, many of the items were over-priced novelties, but I didn't care at all; I was like a kid in a candy store!! The woman at the counter, I overheard with ecstasy, was speaking to someone; I caught "arigatoo," amongst other words. I hope I didn't too badly soil certain items in the ensuing orgasm.

Anyway, I was desperate to leave the store with some item, but as I wrote, the prices charged were rather heavy. In the end, I settled for what you see below [too bad it came out blurry]; the aforementioned woman told me it can be used for anything, for instance a bookmark. I've decided that would be a good idea, and will do so; I plan to make my next loan a Murakami book [Norwegian Wood?], so to use this elegant figure would be great.

A NEW ENGLISH LANGUAGE

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the EU rather than German which was the other possibility. As part of the negotiations, Her Majesty's Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5 year phase-in plan that would be known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of the"k". This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have 1 less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year, when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like "fotograf" 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be ekspekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible. Governments will enkorage the removal of double letters, which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horible mes of the silent "e"s in the language is disgraseful, and they should go away.

By the fourth year, peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz year, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and similar changes vud of kors be aplid to ozer kombinations of leters.
