I prefer selfless lovers, GICA.

They are altruistic, willing to give more than they receive in return.

Maybe the best lovers are those men whose maturity and baldness urges them to take their time and appreciate the beauty of their partner.

I thought Iniesta was player of the tournament. He was the best player on the pitch in the final and he was the most consistent player throughout. I never saw him make a poor or wasteful decision. A lot of people are naming Senna and Xavi for the honors but Spain worked because of Iniesta. If it wasn't for his passing, movement and attacking game, Spain would've been less effective. Iniesta gave Spain the movement it needed to pass around teams. He also provided some killer passes too.

Iniesta sucked against Sweden and Italy. How is that consistent?

The only one who played good every game was Senna.

Very well said. Beautiful metaphor as well.
Creating may be more difficult, but there would be no creating without cleaning in behind. Admittedly, I am a big fan of sweepers... I mean defensive midfielders, who make sure that the AMs know they have their backs and don't have to worry too much about not succeeding at first and maybe losing the ball, because a good DM will be there to stop a possible counter attack. They are an insurance to the team. Without them the creative midfielders couldn't feel free to play their game.

Yeah but Xavi was the best So case closed

Senna was the most consistent. But believe me, what makes Spain different is their creativity. You can find good strikers and a valid DM in other teams, but the amount of creativity they had in midfield was unreachable for the rest.

And Xavi was the example of that. The engine of the team.

LOL, I agree with UEFA's choice. I just felt the need to express my appreciation to the DMs. p

He made a lot of poor decision out site the box and outside the box, he doesn't know when to shot.

Iniesta sucked against Sweden and Italy? I thought the whole team was sub par in both those games. Both Xavi and Iniesta were ineffective against Sweden and were both subbed off. Against Italy the attack was muffled by the Italian defense. So if people are making arguments for Xavi as player of the tournament then he must be judged on his performances in these two games too.
