Trump 16

Doesn't anyone else want to see this. I mean the possibilities are endless with this. Well he could probably nuke humanity into hell, but the ride there will be fun. Atleast he won't sugar coat it in dross words and bureaucratic speech.

He's be like "**** you dummies, I am nuking the **** out of you". I mean he is an asshole just like every other asshole running for office. But he's open about it.

I vote Trump.

(I don't actually have a vote)

The Trump - Clinton debates would be legendary.

But the funny thing is that Trump has been very critical of Fox news, which previously everyone hated, but now that Trump hates them all of a sudden people are saying that maybe Fox news isn't so bad.

I got a fever and the only prescription is more Cuban rum and cigars!

Yes, any debate involving Trump would be legendary.

Oh, I'd vote Trump too!

It just gets better and better. This might be the finest thing I've seen from a Presidential candidate yet (since Herman Cain, but that wasn't intentionally funny):

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/donald-tru...204643935.html

Donald Trump pushes back after being disinvited from RedState gathering in Atlanta

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, disinvited from a conservative conference and under fire because of remarks about a female debate moderator, defended his comments on Saturday while denouncing politically correct “fools." Trump had been scheduled to give the keynote address on Saturday night at the RedState gathering in Atlanta, where several other members of the 17-person Republican field were appearing. The comments by Trump, whose blunt manner has brought a new dynamic to the 2016 presidential race, come during a campaign in which Republicans are trying to overcome what Democrats say is their "war on women.”

His comment was inappropriate. It is unfortunate to have to disinvite him. But I just don’t want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal.

Erick Erickson, RedState Editor-in-chief

Erick Erickson, who heads the influential RedState website, said on Friday he canceled Trump’s address because of the candidate’s “demeaning” comments about Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, who was one of three moderators at Thursday night’s candidates debate. Trump, who was leading in polls going into the debate, thought Kelly was unfair in asking him about his previous comments on women. "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,“ Trump said in a CNN interview on Friday. "Blood coming out of her wherever." The Trump campaign issued a statement on Saturday, saying, "Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad - she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard. Mr. Trump said ‘blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever’ meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics. Only a deviant would think anything else.

"Also, not only is Erick a total loser, he has a history of supporting establishment losers in failed campaigns so it is an honor to be uninvited from his event."

Donald Trump

Politics has needed Trump for a long time now. I am even more impressed that in the face of criticism , rather than conforming to the normal standards he has doubled down on his inner asshole. That's the kind of man that needs to be president, not another conformist.

People are tired of career politicians. It's the same everywhere. If a candidate comes along who isn't part of the establishment and doesn't aim to become part of it, he's going to attract a huge amount of support. You see it other countries as well.

Whether or not such a candidate can have success is another matter. The political establishment is big, powerful and very influential. A lot of people rely on it to make a living. If you shake that up you're going to get a reaction, the severity of which depends on how scared you make them.

Those quotes immediately looked familiar.

That's what I thought, and in the end, it might be that, but this is worrying.

It was expected that he'll have some supporters given the redneck population, but this is wtf level of support.

lol, probably the most appropriate instance for that movie reference to be made on XT. We (esp. Andy for obvious reasons) must have had too much fluoride in our water.

Andy strikes me as the kind of guy that would have a reverse osmosis filtration system

The chances of Trump winning the Republican nomination are marginally above zilch. The country club stacked administration of the party will do whatever it takes to discredit him through a coordinated smear campaign via Fox and others. All to push their boy Bush

In my view, Trump will run as an independent candidate and will extract a significant part of the disgruntled Republican base and also the disenfranchised base who are fed up with the 2 party duopoly masquerading as a democracy. His rhetoric will resonate well with this crowd, because unlike the other 2 candidates he won't be owned by their political donors.

I'd happily see Trump as the president of any country that did not have nukes. He'd be great as the South Korean leader. Imagine him vs Kim Jong Un

Those early numbers are meaningless, with the campaigns not even properly started yet...it is easy to get early big numbers if you're well known from TV and controversial. This is simply the effect of everybody in America knowing Trump but not knowing many other candidates (but they will get to know them once their campaigns get into full swing). So these Trump support numbers won't last and in the end those who are deemed "electable" will prevail. It is kind of like running a marathon, it doesn't matter who is leading on 15km mark.
