Slaven Belupo score in the 92nd minute and still didn't win Under 2,000 fans btw at Maksimir, the Mamic "resigning" news surely made an impact

Im guessing until BBB dont announce they're officially back it'll still be empty. Still even if BBB come back i'm not expecting 10,000 people.

Rijeka don't take full advantage of Dinamo's loss yesterday and were held to scoreless draw by Cibalia and they missed a penalty in the final minute

Istra finally won a game after 30+ games without a win

Dinamo getting smoked 4:0 in Rijeka Cico looks like he's gone and they will fall to third place. Semper was apparently a disaster with the first goal

But what? Must be that Mamic obviously doesn't want people to think this is going to be another easy season for Dinamo so he told the players to lose.

Split without a win in 11 matches and have only scored twice, they will probably go down especially with the financial problems they have, but you wonder where the money Dinamo/Loko gave them went Cibalia their main competition I guess, another side with massive financial problems. Inter got a respectable draw at Osijek

Basically we know the four teams in Europe next season already (Dinamo, Rijeka, Hajduk and Osijek), unless an outsider wins the cup

I watched the first half without any stream difficulties, the second half was on an off, but from what I saw he did well. The offside call on Hajduk was a close one though.

Both matches today drew less than 200 people

Cibalia and Split are pretty much the teams fighting to avoid relegation, no surprise both teams are in severe financial problems, players on Split of leaving left and right due to unpaid wages and they sold off all their decent players. Who knows they might be saved by licenses again, Igor Biscan is leading Rudes to the top of the 2.HNL at the moment but they probably won't get a first division license.

Rijeka are playing great. Another good performance this past kolo, 3-0 over Osijek.

For those that watch and follow the HNL (I catch every other Rijeka game or so), do you think the current standings will stick and it'll be a 4 horse race going into the 2nd round of the season?

I've seen this before with Rijeka at least, just in the past few years. Good start. They keep pace with Dinamo and come the end of the season, we drop silly points and lose the final derby to them. I thought this would be the year with us unloading a lot of our major pieces (Bezjak, Leskovic, Vargic, Mocinic) that we would be fighting it out with Hajduk for 2nd/3rd. Pleasantly surprised so far.

Like what I'm seeing from Osijek though

Well this season looks like it will be the most competitive in a long time. This what you were all hoping for folks.

However I'm not worried at all. Mamic has this. Pretty slack though as he's giving Rijeka fans false hope they'll win the league. Savage.
