Varazdin for the second week in a row concede two goals in extra time Only this time they at least get a point, too strange to be true...

Hajduk have been playing well and a good atmosphere at the game.

wow, that was a soft penalty and Dinamo lead 2:1, scoring twice in a manner of minutes

Dinamo won 2:1, draw was probably the fair result, neither team impressed too much in this match. Dinamo had more possession but rarely created chances from open play. Hajduk defended well but didn't offer much threat in attack after failing to convert what was basically a three-on-one counter

Dinamo are now 13 points ahead of Hajduk with 9 matches to play, they should wrap up the title officially in 3-4 weeks. Slaven only three points behind Hajduk but Hajduk have a superior goal difference

Rijeka host Zadar tomorrow to conclude round 21

Does anyone know the attendance at the game? I went on Dinamo and Hajduk's website but it doesn't say on either, Or was it embarrassingly low so they decided not to show it lol

was this shown on TV? My stream cut as soon as the match ended, but again its Mamic trying to bully people, it was a very harsh penalty. But to be fair, Dinamo probably should have gotten one in the first half

Rijeka - Zadar 0:1

Rijeka not having a good second half of the season despite the optimism ahead due to Volpi's investment. Strange week where there were many unfancied away wins, especially from clubs in the lower half

1. Dinamo 54
2. Hajduk 41
3. Slaven 38
4. Split 34
5. Cibalia 32
6. Lokomotiva 30
7. Rijeka 29
8. Osijek 29
9. Zagreb 29
10. Zadar 28
11. Inter 27
-------------------------------------
12. Istra 27
13. Sibenik 21
14. Lucko 19
15. Karlovac 15
16. Varazdin 9

Only goals scored is keeping Inter above the relegation zone, but I believe the real tie-break is head-to-head in Croatia, at least it was in the past, HNS could make shit up as they go p

There will be matches midweek because one of the rounds was cancelled due to snow:
Zagreb - Osijek
Dinamo - Slaven
Rijeka - Hajduk
Inter - Cibalia
Split - Karlovac
Istra - Lucko
Zadar - Varazdin
Sibenik - Lokomotiva

Zagreb - Osijek 2:2

Result does neither any good in a potential relegation battle, both clubs three points above the drop zone now

rest of the matches are tomorrow

if Rijeka didn't get rewarded a 3:0 victory over Karlovac they would be in the relegation zone right now, Volpi's revolution might be taking place in the 2.HNL

Dinamo - Slaven 2:0
Rijeka - Hajduk 0:3
Split - Karlovac 3:1
Istra - Lucko 2:0
Zadar - Varazdin 2:0
Inter - Cibalia 1:1
Sibenik - Lokomotiva 0:1

All signs are pointing to Balakov leaving to go to Kaiserslautern, he leaves on a high note. Istra and Zadar are hitting form at the right moment, while Rijeka and Osijek are dangerously close to the relegation zone. Split are right back in the Europa League picture. Really 6-7 teams could be in danger of getting the final relegation spot, but as Lynx posted in the 2.HNL thread, only 4 clubs in the second division applied for a license and Dugopolje are the only one who can go up results wise. What if they don't finish first in the 2.HNL? Will only 4 clubs go down? You never know with the HNS

1. Dinamo 57
2. Hajduk 44
3. Slaven 38
4. Split 37
5. Lokomotiva 33
6. Cibalia 33
7. Zadar 31
8. Osijek 30
9. Istra 30
10. Zagreb 30
11. Rijeka 29
----------------------------
12. Inter 28
13. Sibenik 21
14. Lucko 19
15. Karlovac 15
16. Varazdin 9

Varazdin could be relegated as early as the weekend

You really don't.

It's crazy. Even when they come out with "it's official" it's still not really ever official (at least not until the end). It changes so many times.

Really difficult to track, as there are so many questions and so little (concrete) answers.

Just a wait and see.

Varazdin - Dinamo 0:4
Lokomotiva - Split 1:0
Lucko - Slaven 1:1
Zadar - Istra 0:0
Sibenik - Zagreb 2:1
Osijek - Karlovac 1:1

Vugrinec ties Cvitanovic for the all-time HNL scoring list, Vugrinec will certainly break that record soon. Slaven's slip up gives Lokomotiva another chance at third place

Hajduk host Cibalia tomorrow and there is a big match at Kantrida between two teams surprisingly fighting against relegation; Rijeka-Inter

Varazdin will be relegated next week if they fail to win, they are one of the 5 Croatian clubs to never be relegated

Rijeka have already signed Ivan Bosnjak and the signing of Jurica Vranjes should be made official tomorrow. Rijeka have also contracted Biscan who has been kicked off the squad by Dinamo
